There is a McDonalds in Scarborough, Ontario Canada with the classic 1980s building design. I can't confirm if the inside is the original setup. Seeing that tree brings back lots of memories! Does anyone remember the McDonald's Train Caboose? Those were for private birthday parties.
Not sure if you already knew or if someone told you, but if you ever make it to around Macon, Georgia, there's a flea market called Smiley's that has an Apple Pie tree like the one on the upper right at 6:25 on display somewhere along the parking lot
Just found your channel the other day. A few months back I posted about this tree in a McDonald’s group and the photo blew up. I visited this location too because I presently own 2 plastic character chairs (grimace and a fry guy) that use to be at this location, and wanted to visit their original home when I bought them. I also had my hands on the shoe keeper from the play place which I sold. (Selling my fry chair too)
If you ever stop by nanuet newyork you should check out that Chuck E. Cheese location. It does have a studio C beta stage. However, they have a lot of phase 3 artwork on the walls. Along with some old phase 3 wall decorations iirc.
It may not be safe McDonald’s has been atleast in my area remodeling this type of stores and removing the drink fountains and updated interiors im near bel air maryland
I kind of wonder it too. Honestly. Cuz clearly the employee I talked to on the phone had never noticed a button much less pressed it and obviously had never been in the room when someone else pressed it either. So it does make you kind of wonder if any of the employees have ever bothered pressing it.
This is just so awesome to see. I wish more McDonald's embraced their roots like this
Heh. Roots… Get it? Cause the tree?
As a McDonalds collector I love mcdonaldland and would love to see this ICON someday but this is a really great supplement
Cool to see some old McDonald Land pieces still surviving in some locations.
really cool how while everything is remodeled they kept that area in tact!

I seen pictures of the caboose for sure :)
which location in scarborough? lawrence?
Nice to see the old McDonald's pieces
When I was a little girl in the seventies the apple pie tree in the McDonald's playgrounds had a root that can be a chair for the tables
I think the piece might be from the early 2000's because the apple pies boxes are from that era. The red boxes with the blue and yellow arches.
this is a pretty cool mcdonald's, wish i lived closer! i also usually call thr brick with yellow trim mcdonald's french fry mcdonald's
They need to bring all this fun back in full force. Modern McDonald’s looks like a prison.
As a citizen from Pennsylvania, I find this a win!

I didn't know about that, I'll have to stop and check it out!

Also originally built only in 97/98 but I guess remodeled early 00s. NO CLUE how I missed the Ronald and the button.
