It's also good that someone else asked about trying different sounds from the HM-2 than the common all dials maxed Swedish chainsaw tone. The settings you used with the Low & High dials at or about 12 'o clock are the latest I have also used with my HM-2, although I tried it on both the E & B strings on my Ibanez 7 stringer. In E it sounds like old school death metal in more standard tuning like Asphyx, in B it sounds like old Grave / Bolt Thrower. The tones you got sounded good, so the video deserved more time. Good work anyway. \m/

Seriously, that's a huge work, complete and very unique. And you convince me to add the Wurm to my pedal-board, to get a re-actualized, but not basic clone, of Swedish chainsaw. Some suggestions : _ A Pedal Vault of the Boss Metalcore ? With fq graph of curse ! _ A video with distorted vocals with the hm2 (I love distorded voices like Anaal Nathrakh). The HM2 is really mid-hi and human voice is not so far. And a question : Why don't you make a Fq graph for the REVV G3 ? C0uld we see it ? ...
Haha, thanks a lot! I'm constantly trying to improve my english, but yeah... only time will tell! I haven't made a curve because it felt like it wasn't necessary, but I might do in the future. Also thank you for your ideas, keep your eyes open, I think I'll cover it eventually :)
@@MrJackrockerman I know this is three years later, but the original adapter is closest to a 12v adapter. You will get best results using a 12v adapter, or a power supply with a 12v output. I'm compared both 9v and 12v and 12v is definitely a lot better.
Was this plugged directly into the power amp? I saw the signal chain mentioning the tube pre + V30 additions, so I think not. I don’t have an Axe-FX, so that shows how little I know lol! 🙈
it'a okay, but you're better off throwing one of those old MT-2's in the FX loop and the HM-2 in front in all of it's bloody chainsaw glory. And you all have a discarded metal zone in your closet don't lie

The tube Pre is basically a Power Amp, so yeah! Since I've not touched any EQ it should be pretty accurate.

When you for whatever reason want to sell it. Than you COULD turn the knobs to show that they can be turned... might help...

Is the Boss EQ pedal helpful with the HM2 for getting the more melodic frequencies heard?
@@goatsurgeon I personally prefer Parametric EQs, but since Entrails use them (I think I've spotted it on their IG) it' a good addition!
