Your answer to the last question (from Joseph Sansalone) 😂 😂 😂 🤣 🤣 🤣 Funniest thing I heard in ... I cannot remember how long. Especially the EQ peak of Warburg. PURE GOLD. BTW, your town's name reminds me, when I was in Germany a few years ago, I drank a cool sounding beer called Warsteiner ... War-steiner. Most 'metal' beer in Germany? 😂 😂 😂
Hope you can get your hands on your own GE7 and from now on I will only recognize the Warburg EQ curve with bird noise in future videos as being the true chainsaw.
The super distortion Dimarzio pickups also produce a beautiful swedish chainsaw noise and EMGs 81/85. I own a Rhodes with emgs I think one of the guitarists also had emgs. Just not entirely sure.
man that was really funny. I dunno where but I can remember entombed was using EMG on Ibanez through left and right and ds1 again in mid, now question is: why an active pickup through hm2 worked for them?
Greetings. Could you do a demo of the HM-2 into the DS-1? I read somewhere that this technique may have been used in the recordings on classic (Swedish) death metal albums.
huh, about the output thing: yeah, I've actually noticed that the (in my case) Eyemaster (as well as the HM300, which I had one of... then it broke) tends to be a bit finicky the way I use it: I generally use it as outboard gear on my audio interface, so, I tend to send the clean guitars out of my PC, through the pedals, and then back into my PC (where it then goes into amp and cab sim and so forth)... The finicky part? If I set the output to be as loud as possible (so as close to 0 db as I can without clipping, which would be the most intuitively logical thing to do) the pedal tends to sound shrill and more like a fuzz then anything... to get a chainsaw, I actually have to put it at -3 to -6 or so... despite actually using a box that lowers the output of my interface from line level down to instrument level. I assumed that that is simply because I do use the pedals in a way they aren't actually supposed to, but, them just working better with lower output pickups, ergo a less loud input to the pedals, would also explain that.
How would you feel about the hm-2 sound made into an amp? An eq-gain--valoume-master volume amp. That is basically just a giant hm2 plus a speaker. Sounds prerty rad, huh.
That would be AWESOME, we should petition Boss for it!!! For now, there are some options that are close ... i) The Boss Katana amp has extra tone settings available from the Boss Tone Studio online, one of them is the Fat Distortion, which sounds HM-2 based. Watch this video & hear how close it sounds: th-cam.com/video/ZY62YKNjrfA/w-d-xo.html ii) Older models of the Roland Cube amp have two metal distortion settings, 'Metal' & 'Metal Stack'. The 'Metal' setting also sounds HM-2 based, similar to the Fat DS mentioned above (the 'Metal Stack' setting is an obvious Metal Zone setting) Note that neither of these is identical to the HM-2, but they get close.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Unexpected, hahaha. But brilliant, just absolutely brilliant, thanks! 🤘
Thanks Dome! The Warburg peak made my day ;)

He challenged me, I accepted... That's how we do it here 🤷♂️🤣

Hi! I love your channel. Do you have a HM2 reamp service?
Thanks, man! Well, not yet, but you can contact me via FB or IG, so we can work things out 😉
