Do EVs powered by fossil fuel reduce greenhouse gases?

    Another fantastic video! Very informative and I had no idea that you could vary the charge times for EV's as to not put stress at peak hours. Good to know! :)

      Yes an advantage of EVs is being able to set a specific time to recharge which in some areas allows you to charge at cheaper rates.

    Nice video!
    I am happy to be using mostly hydropower in Idaho which doesn’t stress the grid any time a day I charge.

      Agreed. We’re fortunate here in Iowa, and that most of our power comes from wind.

    I've read the battery should only be charged to 80% to preserve the longevity of the battery. You said you charge to 100% every night. Do you see any degradation in range yet?

      I haven’t seen any degradation yet - but now that I have a better experience with our range and daily use - I set my charge limit to 85 on a daily basis as that gives me lots of range. When we are going to go on a road trip - I charge to 100%. We have driven close to 6,000 miles so far and loving it!
