I can relate to this video because I’ve been struggling to come out of the closet for six years and I just couldn’t fight it any longer. I’m proud to be gay, but I’m just scared of telling my family because I don’t know what they’ll think of me. Wonderful video and I enjoyed every moment of it.

I cant understand why some parents dont accept their kids being gay. My dad doesnt accept it (he lectures me about why im not anytime its mentioned) and like???? You should be lecturing me about how to make sure Im not in a toxic relationship, how to make sure I know how I should be treated, to know my worth??? Why does it bother you so much that sometimes I dont want a boyfriend but I might sometimes want a girlfriend??? Why does my being bisexual take priority over my being in a healthy, non-toxic, uplifting, and loving relationship with a person thats going to treat me like their whole world???
You're completely right, I must say it's a weird society we live in where some people can't even accept two people loving each other. I hope your dad can be educated and change his mind, but if not I wish you to stay safe!

This hits so close to home. I'm now slowly accepting who I am, but before I hated myself more then ever, because I thought people wouldn't accept me. I kept fighting, crying, wanting to understand, but then I got tired. And I stopped and tried seeing the good in me. And I did. So for anyone out there... Give yourself a chance.
