- WORTHING is a holiday seaside town with great beach, a pier and a lido that sits in West Sussex, England. It's just 11 miles west of the bustling Brighton and close to Bognor Regis, so you can easily hop around if you fancy a change of scenery.

Born here 1945..... Worthing's beach was somewhat plagued by banks of seaweed, which in the summer we could smell at home in High Salvington...3 miles inland. But the fondest memories! (Peter Bonetti's family ran the Rendezvous Cafe , part of the Dome Cinema frontage. We went up to see his first game for Chelsea, April 1959)

Worrying looks like a very interesting town. You have a lot of shops and things going for it. I like the history of it. Did you do vaudeville type performances? It’s good to see all your shops doing so well. I hope they continue through the pandemic. Thank you for sharing your town with us. I’ve heard of some of your shops and YES I’d come to Worthing!
