- SHERINGHAM NORFOLK - A full tour of the holiday seaside town of Sheringham from the North Norfolk Railway Station and Poppy Line to the beach and seafront. We take a walk down through this beautiful happy seaside town and tourist destination to see what it's like here and if you should visit.
I love Sheringham. It's a beautiful place. One of the best places to visit in Norfolk with a great beach, lots of beach huts and tourist attractions as well as some great hotels and guesthouses if you want to stay here for a holiday.
We start at the train station, home of the famous North Norfolk Railway and it's lovely poppy line and head into the town for a look at the shops and restaurants and pubs here, before heading down to the beach and Sheringham museum for a walk along the seafront.
It's easy to see why holidaymakers fall in love with Sheringham. It really is worth a visit if you're in the Norfolk area.

Think I should put this town on my bucket list, definitely cannot beat a British seaside town.

Looks like a wonderful place to visit; fromstart to finish from the train to the sea front; although I am not keen on rocky beaches. The wall art is spectacular as are the beach huts.

Love this little town and fish chips are fabulous. Another my favourite towns is other side the country. Dawlish in Devon with the impressive sea wall walk. You must put this delightful town on you itinerary.

Great fish n chips at Sheringham, both times I’ve been there the tide has been in, the boulders do a great job of protecting the coast line.

Looks like a lovely little place must make a visit also its home to the Atlantic 85 class inshore lifeboat called The Oddfellows D818 , just a guess that the name comes from those oddfellows watching you come down those steps near Peggy Heggies place .great video thanks .
Watching Sherringham on TV.love it! The train,the shops,would live there as we are retired.Did it have a better beach further along? 😊
That's a different way to start a video! A fun fact is the next station on that railway has been used as a filming location for Hi de Hi and Dad's Army (if I remember correctly!) Cracking video, as always

Sheringham has a very lively music festival called The Potty - it's on 6th and 7th July in 2024 👍👍 Lots of music and dance 💯💯💯 🎼🎵🎶🎸🎹🪗

This a lovely seaside town retaining most of its authenticity, unlike some of towns which resemble a poor version of Disneyland...thanks for sharing

Wonderful north Norfolk town. I come from Norwich but haven't lived back in Norfolk since 1962 🙄 we still go to some of the Norfolk coast line & sheringham is a favourite. Really lovely old town as I remember most of it from the 50s
Lovely town and waterfront. Are the beach huts owned and regulated by the town or shire council? I imagine they would be
booked during school holiday periods. Are there sandy stretches when the tide is out, or is it totally a pebble beach?
Been to Sheringham meny times, spent meny an hr at station, good food and ice's down main street, maybe not the bestest beach but we enjoy looking out from there. Thank you for reminding us of a lovely place.
