Great review Tom. Nissan has done well here. I think I’d rather have this over the 3 cylinder Rogue. It’s just funny how a few years ago 20,000 bucks was the price point for entry vehicles and now manufacturers have pushed that up to 30,000. A piece of advice for anyone considering a competitor in this category, stay way from the Trax. My daughter bought one of the first shipped to the US last summer and found herself fighting with the dealership and GM because they wouldn’t address several issues. They eventually took the vehicle back and replaced it with another Trax, which has also had issues.
2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a better option, yet, excellent video.
What the old car makers need to do is hire new designers with fresh new ideas. You look at these new Chinese cars and they look great. You look at Toyota, Honda, etc. and they look same old same old.

Thanks for the video….curious about that panoramic sunroof, does the glass portion open? If so, is it just straight up, or does it open from front to back?
I wish some of that grill wasn’t fully black. I live in South Florida. That glass black will fade real quick with most car brands. I think this looks really cool though! This might save Nissan.
When I looked at the dealers in my area, they have a lot of S models and some SV's. But I would think people would want the SR for the new 2025 Kicks (with the panoramic moon roof). I wonder why they aren't making and shipping SR's. Nice review. I picked up on more features in this review than I have in other reviews. I have a 2023 Kicks. The horsepower is fine except for today when a truck kept coming in the right lane without slowing down to let cars merge, a car was stopped and blocking the end of the entrance ramp so I had to slow down not to hit it, and the driver behind me was tail-gaiting me and swerved behind me into the right lane after we both let the truck pass on by, so I was in danger of him rear-ending me. If something had happened, I don't think it would have been because of the power of my car, just the other reckless drivers. I usually pick up speed fine on the ramp and can pace when I move into the first lane and immediately into the middle-lane (when other drivers aren't plastered to my rear and the ramp isn't blocked by a stalled car). I like my Kicks. I've only had to do oil and filter changes and tire rotation.
Spare tire well, no spare tire, but you get a tire repair kit that can fit in the glove box.

Thank you for including rear blinkers/turn signals in operation. Many reviewers forget such an obvious feature of a vehicle that stands out on roads.

Why would they use orange contrast in all the SR models? I don’t like that.
Not sure if a spare tire is an option which would be weird for any auto manufacturer to do but other videos that had reviews if this new generation Kicks had shown a spare tire. Regardless, I may take a look at one and see for myself if this is worth the money. Nice features and AWD. Yeah, it doesn’t have power drivers seat and passenger seat (my current vehicle has both) but can manage.
I've had cars since 1972 and have never had power seats and don't need them since I'm the only driver. I set my seats once when the vehicle is new and never set them again, occasionally a mechanic while servicing my vehicle will move the seat for their size but it's no big deal to move it back to my size settings.
The right vehicle at the right time for Nissan.
It’s intriguing, but you can’t see what your HVAC system is doing when you’re using CarPlay or android auto.

That vehicle is a winner. I plan on buying one in 2-3 years. I have a 2022 Sentra I purchased new and only have 4600 miles on it since I don't drive much.
Dont care for the wheels or that they added the A.S.S "feature". (Auto Stop-Start) to the FWD 😵 and no spare tire and they moved the gas filler to the passenger side.

I believe the SR driver side is power.
No option for leather seats or power drivers seat.the adjustments feel cheap and chinsey.
Slow and heavy
To the majority of people that will buy them they're not slow and they don't buy those type of vehicles for speed or 'fun' that many of your ilk claim you need. It weighs about the same as my 2023 Nissan Sentra that only has 8 more horsepower and my Sentra has more than enough power for me on the highway.
Still can't fit a small adult in the back seat, no knee room, very disappointed
