Thank you bro, most efficient knurl tutorial on youtube! Because you help me I wish to contribute a tip as well. When using the mirror tool, instead of selecting faces, you can select features and then simply select from your timeline the features you want to mirror 😎
Sold. you helping fix the orbit settings and the zoom. You have changed my life. I submit to your religion, where's the kool-aid. Take me to Van Halen or whatever.
the way i typically do this is i start a sketch on the bottom face and make a 0.5mm - 1.0mm square rotated 45 degrees onto its tip that insets into the body by 0.5mm or so and use that for the coil, might make it a little neater, especially when it comes to flat-flat faces, once ive done that i do the same sketch just instead using a left handed coil and then use the circular pattern tool to wrap it around the body
Nice tutorial, however I really do not like this "traditional fusion" knurl design. I usually make my own custom diamond shape profile instead of just using triangle profile coil. This gives you an actual genuine knurl pattern and it's also more grippy.
Great knobs
Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Perfect tutorial.
I'm a Fusion 360 beginner and I followed it perfectly.
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching and commenting 😁
Very great tutorial on FS360. I will try to recreate myself, looks like really great learning model to create. Cheers

I don’t 3d print… but I do like a good well crafted knob… thanks

I know what you mean. There is definitely a difference in feel.
