I don't understand why people never say about this. But Tear is broken because almost all their cards are always +2 or more. And all of their cards never go minus. Funny how this community will complain about some random draw 1. But when it comes to a deck that can make +2 or more with all their cards, they can say this as something fair. . Branded, I still don't like Mirrorjade. Mirrorjade doing too much with its busted effect (3 of them). It has non-target banish (maybe one of the strongest removal in the game now), milling good card as cost (cannot cancel it), and the most annoying effect, Raigeki in EP, it is annoying because it didn't give any chance for opponent to rebuild the board, like a coward. Maybe it will be less annoying if the removal is like Absoulte Zero. This card is still okay, because we have too many generic busted card. So, archetype boss should be more busted because it is a little difficult to summon. . We don't need best deck, because YGO will be more interesting if every decks are equal.
Lol, I play Synchro and Kash, Mannadium best deck. I think the actual answer is Tearlaments. In a no banlist environment, the optimal deck is Tear with broken power spells like painful choice and graceful charity. It was also insanely dominant in its time, while still being a solid deck despite its numerous hits. Literally any new thing that comes out that allows it to dump cards into the grave or search a dude breathes new life into the deck, like with Horus most recently. It's just a gross deck.
Tear and Zoo are probably the only right answers. Zoodiac actually got more powerful over time. Stuff like Zeus, F0 and the armor XYZ cards give the deck a ton of punch. Ratpier alone also plays through 3 handtraps without any additonal cards. Its also has a crazy amount of free deck space for to adapt to any metagame. Tears power is of course absolutely comical. My sentimental pick would be dragon rulers.
Yea it’s crazy that they got hit again, imagine they take off kitkalos in like 3-4 years and then the deck is even more broken and now you have to ban even the names 😂 that’s essentially what happened to zoo & I like it, a man of class, they would have been in the 6-10 range if I expanded the list

100% I’m pretty sure they ran an ocg tourney where they allowed banned cards and tear didn’t even run pot of greed, that’s how insane this deck was
