This looks awesome. My only criticism is you could have used masking tape when doing the black painting to achieve a really clean line around the front, since thats a bit messy.
Wow! Simply unbelievable. I clean my sneakers by hand to get the best life of them. But I did not know that I could restore then back to life! I now value my shoes and will never have to buy shoes again. Especially my boots and stilettos that have been discontinued. Thank you!
I can't believe how the comments section is full of people telling a professional how to do their job, jeez. Good work, I thought that they were ready for the bin but you really fixed them up 👍
I enjoyed watching. But.. just my opinion: something about that white paint doesn't look good. Also, it's an uneven line where the black sole paint meets the white paint, mostly at the toe.
Amazing, I thought no hope for that expensive slipper. But I was curious of the outcome and oh my perfect. Great work, and yes very calming to watch you do magic from worn torn to new again.
Very well done. I will say however, the edges could do with a touch more neatening up and perhaps try and get some of those creases out by stuffing the shoe. Otherwise, look at how brilliant white it has turned out! The original looks positively yellow in comparison! I hope you see what I've put as constructive rather than degrading - you've done a cracking job here!
I had to watch to see how you were gonna fix the worn away leather! White leather has to probably be the most unforgiving to re-do! You did it effortlessly!
White leather doesn’t compare to black patent leather in the slightest. A single mistake and patent leather is ruined. You end up having to re-wrap the whole shoe.
People these days restore self dirt fake muddy shoes for the sake of youtube which only need washing, but here you are working on another level, brought back to life a truly dead piece, the leather was seriously worn but salute to your skill and patience, much appreciated.
I saw another video where they put those wood shoe shapers inside the shoe, put a damp towel on top of the creases and then go over the towel with a clothes iron little by little
Super quality work.. ❤️ 🇯🇲....... uf you have one that the white is faded and the color rubs off until you seeing luke the gry leather. Whats ur solution?
Meh…I’d give the job a 6/10 tops. The rubber sole protector and top lift are different designs. I would have replaced the sole and heat stamped a new gucci logo before applying the rubber. The paint is super thick and is caked over the thread. The edge dressing could use some work and the brass fittings could use some polishing. Stuffing the shoe and then ironing over a wet cloth would have reduced the appearance of all those wrinkles also.
Yeah i have to agree it seems really...unfinished. Like if i were to shell out money to have my shoes restored i would have expected a bigger transformation tbh

Fabulous repair, shoes for another time. In Mexico there goos shops repair, a lot of people won't spend on new shoes all the time, they even vulcanize tennis shoes, the practice make them experts. In USA, is expensive to repair good shoes..
I don't understand why they use rubber soles instead of leather?? Rubber may be harder wearing but it's not authentic with the original shoes. I though they were restoring these shoes not making there own version of them...
You make everything with so much care, so much affection, thank you so much for providing this satisfaction for your viewers. Recycle and reuse! These shoes returns to being so pretty as they left the factory!
I ain’t gonna lie…I was like no way he finna fix these. These shoes are for the trash! But then…just WOW!!! Amazing work!!! Now if only people could fix their lives like these shoes lol.

Good grief, the owner must have walked from Maine to California in those shoes. Fantastic repair.
Nice job. And what lovely outro music.

I don’t know why but I love watching these restoration videos. The sounds are soothing. I need to get a life
I have my expensive penny-loafers repaired in Turkey as it is difficult to find good repair shops in Germany these days.
This looks awesome. My only criticism is you could have used masking tape when doing the black painting to achieve a really clean line around the front, since thats a bit messy.
If tape is put on leather or suede, when the tape is removed, the top layer of the finish of the skin will also be removed
@@OtterCid he could have used a very thin brushe, also, those one for nailart are perfect for tiny works

If you glue the sand paper to a popsicle stick you get a makeshift file, and iou can shape the wood before gluing for the perfect type of file..

may i know whats the creamy product you applied on the peeling part of the shoe before you color paint?
leather filler?
@@RepairStudio yes that’s the word

Excellent work! New subbie
Although rubber soles last longer, why would these shoes not be resolved in leather?
I really enjoy watching a true artist at work. It is not just the repair, but breathing new life into this shoe, well that is artistry!

Is there anything that can be done for the creasing that tends to be on old shoes?
