- Hi everyone and welcome to my new channel! Today I'm restoring an antiquet doll (or what is left from a poor boy). It originates from the USSR and I believe it is from forties. The head is made out of pressed sawdust composition material, and obviously the soft body he used to have has rotten. Hope you'll enjoy watching how I bring him back to life!

Restoring a doll with such level of dedication is hard enough. Restoring using authentic craftsmanship products and techniques, even harder. Doing this whilst filming and shooting different angles so that the video is esthetically pleasing and professional, 10000 times harder. Making sure the sounds are good for ASMR and managing the distances while getting the footage...I mean!!! This is WIIILD! You deserve an oscar! Thanks for this beautiful content

The fact that she made undergarments and took the time to knit him some tiny clothes shows just how much love and dedication she puts into these dolls
Her skills are way beyond the ordinary level of restoration techniques. She knows what she's doing and that is what admirable about her.
I just had no clue what magic I was getting myself into and was more and more blown away at each step. Lost my mind when she showed the hand-knit socks and mittens. so cute. and then she made him little SKIIS!!!? this is an incredible woman with incredible skill. beyond craft, it's art!!!

Didn’t believe that artists like u can still exist nowadays. Your work is so precious, it’s unbelievable that u use all these old instruments, they’re so beautiful! Also the editing of the videos allows to appreciate better the whole job. So glad I’ve found out your channel ❤️
There's whole restaurations schools. Of course that profession continues. How do you think paintings in museums are so pretty ? From hanging them, to having the proper lighting and of course actually restoring the actual painting, statue,... it's all conservators.
And they don't define themselves really as artists. IRPA and other organizations of conservators say so.

This is beautiful! The way she looks at him when his little body is finished reminds me of a mother looking at her little baby, like “look at you! I made you! It took a long time and a lot of work but you’re so beautiful!” And she dresses and holds the little guy so gently, as if he were an actual child. This is the highest effort restoration video I've seen in ages. Every time I thought you were done you added something else, AND you made every little new piece by hand, not just restoring the base and buying new things. You made him little socks! And shoes! Real shoes! And skiing equipment! I must have more.

I love how youre basically a paleontologist to these dolls you examine every peice with care trying to find what peice it is then handling it with extreme care while fixing it up like your assembling fossils
I didn't know dolls such as these could be repaired so thoroughly. They're effectively getting a second chance and I love it. Well, I love everything, actually; from the work to the aesthetic and the dedication! It's like watching a fantasy artisan at work!
Me every step of the way thinking she was finished, then realizing this is BEYOND restoration.
This is beautiful! He came out absolutely adorable. This woman does QUALITY work from the restoration of the head, the tight perfect errorless stitching on the sweater and clothes, down to the most adorable tiny leather shoes with her mark on them! Lets not forget to mention her wonderful work area that she clearly tries to keep original with antique tools and items like her feather pen, adorable tiny silver iron, her sewing machine and much more. Everything about her work atmosphere unique and antique and I love it!
Her restoration process is absolutely wonderful, i could watch her do this over and over again. I think my smile was just as big as her when he was finished and clothed!!! 🎉❤😊😂💯👏🏼

Oh my goodness - I'm absolutely blown away by the skill, care and dedication of this amazing lady. I had no idea how on earth she was going to even attempt to restore those grungy bits of doll, and to be honest I was very sceptical. I kept on watching as she magically brought this little guy to life again - and yes, the clothes, then the socks, and gloves, the tiny boots and the finishing touch of the skis and poles - I'm completely in awe! What an amazing video in so many ways - thank you so much for this breathtakingly beautiful piece of art. xxxxx

I don't understand how this channel doesn't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. This was not only great ASMR but seriously impressive art and skill! Столько эмоций у меня было на протяжении всего видео. Сколько труда вложено, сколько любви. Внезапно выяснилось, что и цвет игрушки светлый - ого! И создание тела для игрушки - ого!
Насколько проработаны детали в одежде для мальчугана - тут просто нет слов.

Not having a single solitary bone in my body that has an interest in dolls, I was amazed at how far you were able to take the restoration. From what I initially thought was going to be a mere restoration of a broken dolls head, and how you were able to utilize so many artistic skills to create an entirely new & complete doll, the process was the art.

For 14 years, I have been restoring old costumes, and I work hard to follow the cultural norms of the times. This was amazing to watch! I very much appreciate your attention to detail and I admire your approach to retain as much of the original work as possible. I watch videos like this to learn more tips and techniques to help advance my own restorative practices. Additionally, this was my first ASMR experience, and I found it very relaxing and comforting to watch and listen as you work! I look forward to seeing more videos!

She is an artist. I believe what she does takes more skill than to make then at the beginning. I've always thought those who repair art, tapestries, antiques ,deserve so much credit for their amazing skills. Without them so many beautiful things would be lost to time. Imo 😊
