I love the work you've been doing with this mod. The Boiler is *punishing*, but in such a good way, and the Grotto was a wonderfully unpleasant surprise! I'd really like to see both incorporated into the base game, because they fit so well. Also, the music for the Grotto absolutely slaps.

now we only need mausoleum/ghetto variant. and i already have an idea: The Infirmary (or clinic). here you will find insane and unstable enemies, like kamikazes, rabids, etc.. and the mechanic can be about sounds, for example, there can be like an alarm mechanic that when it activates, enemies become crazier, until the sound ends. or maybe projectiles, like for example glass shards, that some enemies can leave on the ground, or syringes like the mud on grotto, that when staying for a long time on them, cause damage. about the enemies, like in "The future" mod, can be references from other games like super meat boy. this is just an idea tho
just wanna put it out there, grotto is also the name of an italian kid movie from 2015 where the character named grotto, comunicates with the protagonist burping.
For the 3rd floor in the mod you should ad a twisted candy land floor with cotton candy mixed with blood ice cream with bones for sprinkles and unicorns whose horns break off and bleed
iikr its name is Dripilla, and yeah, this boss is too much overwhelming, because it won't let you any place to stand on when it is in second phase, when black creep turns into damaging purple
Making it compatible with other mods should be a big goal, since you're so late to the game with a stellar mod. It might be offputting for some to choose a good old mod, or a good new one
When i use fall from grace i have permanent orange yellow filter and i cant find a setting to turn it off(in both dead sea scrolls and mod config menu)
Considering how both Boiler and Grotto follow the theming of the Afterbirth alt floors(Boiler & Burning Basement share the theme of heat and fire, Grotto & Flooded Caves share the theme of being a flooded, damp cave, albeit not with the same fluid), I am EXTREMELY curious and also a little concerned about how the remaining two pairs might play out (IE: Mausoleum & Dank Depths, and Corpse & Scarred Womb)
