This is the sort of thing the BBC should be showing. Highlighting the craftmanship still prevalent in this country and encouraging youngsters to pursue "a trade". Well done Kirby for this series of your Odyssey in London.
While the shooting suit series is definitely your undisputed masterpiece, this Kent and Haste series is by far the most entertaining purely on the bants of these two men. Commissioning two suits in one was a great idea, I only wish you had commissioned five so I could hear more of these two men!
She has me entranced. But, the two guys, do, too. The whole process is amazing. Nothing I'll ever experience except vicariously here. But, yes, she is a gem indeed.
Okay Kirby, I need you to get your entire wardrobe from these guys. We need more videos of these guys. The craftsmanship is amazing as well as y'all's chemistry together.
Kirby: "Who goes first?" Terry: *point at Mr. Kent* "age before beauty" Another unexpected flying dagger 😂 such a delightful experience with these tailors
I love the fact that you are giving non corporate companies time and attention. It will help them out a lot by giving them their deserved recognition. Whilst I'm far from a fashion and style fanatic, I do enjoy the quality of videos you put out. There will be a time in my future in which I will need to dressed well, and giving recognition to legendary people may help them get my custom when I do need it. And I have no doubt others who watch will be the same. 👌

I love watching the three musketeers do a great service. They are so considerate and precise with their craft and bring a wonderful energy to the room. How great that this is broadcast on TH-cam so everyone can enjoy what these three artisans give to the world.
This is the best tailoring series on YT. The KH&L trio are very entertaining in addition to their obvious bespoke expertise. Sad to see it come to and end lol
I can but dream to be able to go to London and have a suit made by these gentleman my lord it has been wonderful to watch the process and hear them talk with such knowledge.
Kirby's son may be lucky to have dad's body shape and dimensions as an adult. He will probably be able to wear these very suits made at Kent and Haste. That's how long these suits hold up over the generations.
@@Drakerson They're much better made. I also think the cloth is better than standard off the rack suits. Some suits like tuxedos of course are worn far less frequently than a business suit so will last longer. I have heard ceremony suits made for staff of the Royal Family last over 150 years. They need touch ups every 10 years or so but are still in service. The other factor is hand stitching for much of the suit. It gives better flexibility in the suit and less strain in areas like arm holes on the jacket. Another factor is tailored suits are to be dry cleaned very rarely. It is recommended a dab and press cleaning method over dry cleaning which has chemicals that will destroy fabric over time.
Excited before even watching thus but it will be bitter sweet. My favorite team you have interacted with other than your cowboy 👢 boots. I hope you start over with this team from scratch on something new.
Thank you Kirby for this entertaining and educational video series of you double bespoke commission at Kent & Haste. The clothes they make for you are very nice. Hopefully, your next commission will be with Steven Hitchcock. That would make a very interesting comparison.
I can imagine Terry jokingly saying something like, “Do you think the sleeves are too long? Don’t worry, they’ll shrink in the wash!” Another great look into the world of bespoke tailoring. Thanks, Kirby!
It is now compulsory that you film a visit to Kent, Haste every time you go to London Kirby. Even if you don't commission more suits when you're there we have to at least hear and see more of their humour, friendship and Sayumba's beautiful smile. The point where John sys that they are fanatical about the button holes and other details that other tailors are prepared to pass over shows why they are legends in the bespoke tailoring business. Near enough is not good enough for them.
I just purchased a bespoke commission from Terry Haste. I believe it is a better price and quality than Huntsman on Savile Row. You get a Huntsman suit for half the price from Haste.
I just watched your video and I absolutely loved it! I found your presentation to be incredibly informative and engaging. You did a great job of breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms. I also appreciated the humor and personal anecdotes that you sprinkled throughout the video. It made the content more relatable and enjoyable. You're one of the few TH-camrs who I can consistently count on to deliver high-quality content. Keep up the great work! Thanks Goes To You Mister Artisan of Superb Understanding of Excellence In Craftsmanship; Kirby Allison; I Truly Love You With The Love Of The LORD; And I Hope To Blossom This Into A True Friendship with Honour; Honesty; Loyalty; and with The Highest Esteem and Depth With Knowledge That Comes From God and The Quality of Estatesmanship Which Stems From Him and The True Man With Understanding.
The young woman helping in the fitting is absolutely beautiful. Not only is her work classic and wonderful, her beauty is traditional, classic, and just plain gorgeous… Her husband is a very lucky man! Give her a promotion!!!
This is a brilliant important part of our history in England. These 2 are great ..love the discussion Love it . Beautiful cloth. Is it moxon of Huddersfield
Hi Kirby, I am a fan all the way from Nigeria, your videos are very nice, but I feel they haven't covered the suit fabrics comprehensively yet, I wish you are able to visit factories that make suit fabrics to intimate us with the process of making the finest suit fabrics, which are the most expensive and why are they expensive and of very good quality. Like you know "FABRICS" FIT AND FINISH are the watchwords. I would like that you respond to this message. Thanks as always for your great videos.
I've got a question please, Kirby: With your rich array of suits, ties, shoes, belts, hats, etc, I hope your wife and kids also look as spiffy as you do on a family outing!
Thanks for all the refined videos Kirby. Please advise what the relationship is between Davidoff fragrance and the cigar giants in London, England? Do both belong to the same mother brand or totally separate and just the name similarity? Thanks a lot in advance.
This is the sort of thing the BBC should be showing. Highlighting the craftmanship still prevalent in this country and encouraging youngsters to pursue "a trade". Well done Kirby for this series of your Odyssey in London.
The viewing figures would be astronomical 😂 kids don’t want to learn anything useful and difficult. They just want to make TH-cam videos.
Yes, great comment.
They are far too busy promoting multicultural degeneracy instead.

Teaching Kirby British humor one fitting at a time.

Its amazing how the banter, the adjustments, and the teaching all flow so organically.

The absolute insane obsession with the sleeve length is something I completely sympathise with. 🤣
What a pleasure to watch these professionals at work. It is so nice to see how different generations work hand in hand.
Oh no, not the final. We need more of these two legends!
We have one more! The delivery video!

Kirby, this has been educational and entertaining in equal measure. This might be my favourite series of videos from your channel so far.
Kirby! You should have a podcast, and Kent and Haste need to be an episode! They are such gems! Love to hear their stories
I love the personality and interaction of the tailors, they are awesome.
Terrific series. An education in why one would chose bespoke.
Three of the kindest folks ever! Thank you for sharing them with us all.
I'm stoked to see how they turn out. This has been my favorite series. Thanks.
+1
The 'dear's these two gentlemen say are so delightful to catch
Thanks Kirby, these videos are informative and entertaining.
I love seeing this bespoke journey!
It will never not make me smile when I hear an American say “Edinboro”, love the channel mate.
When suyamba arrives the sun comes up
Yeah, bet she starts at 8 am. Great comment. She doesn't, nor will, love you.
I enjoyed this video the most of any thus far. Such wonderful people to deal with. Outstanding.

I'm going to miss this bunch! 😢
Also, love that pop of color on the shelf!
Thankyou for another amazing episode just love Kent and haste the banter is so brilliant once again thankyou kirby 👏
Wow, imagine being able to do this. Such craftsmen, steeped in history, and perhaps the last of the trure tailors London can boast about.
c est magnifique ce travaille de couturier , j adore !
I love these videos but also Kirby has gone from not really understanding the British Humor to fully embracing it and joining in. Well done Sir!
British tradition at its best. Thank you Gentlemen

From hugging Kirby in the 1st fitting like a long last cousin to not even saying hi properly in the 3rd, one can see the suit change as well as Kent
I used to see the late Duke of Edinborough at horse driving events, never noticed his outfit, and i now realise that was bespoke tailoring.
