MAXXY wearing those Adidas for long runs makes my soul cry! 😂 NB Rebels (previous version) are great for race flat-types. I got 200+ km out of mine before I felt like I needed to start rotating into a different shoe. You’ll be flying in AF3s!
Interesting shoe rotation. Surprised you use the Pegasus for intervals. For me: Daily Trainer - Brooks Ghost 15. Long Runs/Tempo - Saucony Ride 15. Races Asics Magic Speed 3/Saucony Kinvara. I am a 56 year old 20 minute 5K runner.
@@JRZSHR it is a bit different but works well with me! The Pegasus 40 is for track only, it has no plate but good for form! I like your rotation, how do you fine the ASICS Magic speed? Great time you run for the 5k!
Great content. Question: how do you keep track of the mileage in each shoe? I have the Adidas run app and the Garmin Connect app. But it seems like you can only put 1 type of shoe for each app. Do you write down the mileage on each shoe? 😬
@@bardongalang32 great question! The best way in all honesty is to keep a running diary. Hand written can’t be beaten! Garmin have a feature as do Coros but as you’ve mentioned they are limited!! Pen and paper is the best way!
@Maxkelly600 just as I thought. Pen and paper. I'll keep that in mind next time I have a new pair of running shoes. Thanks and keep up the good work 💪🏃🤘
Would you use the Prime X 2 Strung for a marathon? I just bought them on sale, but wondering if I should return them and buy a proper race day shoe like the Metaspeed or Vaporfly. I already have the Superblast 2 for my daily and long runs
@@un0riginal148 they are probably the best training shoe for big sessions! I would race a marathon in them if they were race legal, sadly they aren’t. They look after your legs so well, I would keep it if you can!!
@Maxkelly600 thanks for the input! I just received them a few hours ago and love how they feel (albeit I just walked around my house in them). They feel lighter than a lot of the reviews make them out to be too. I'm not running competitively, so I'll be using them for my marathons next season :)

@@JadeGoesRunning Those Prime X 2 are the maddest shoes going 🤣
Never had a pair of Rebels, am I cool enough to wear them?
only the coolest know about them 🤫

@Maxkelly600 Love the Magic Speed 3, my first carbon plated shoe. I can really feel the plate pushing me forward.

I hope your training is going well mate 🙌🏻💪🏻
@@bardongalang32 if you use Strava you can change your shoe for every activity and it’ll log it for you! 😊

@ great decision, you honestly won’t regret them! The only thing you’ll wish is that you could wear them every run 🤣
