  • In this episode I make a rather snazzy stand for my aging micrometer.
Turned out better than I expected.
    Cheers

@toddkerns4493 Thanks it's a simple geometric design but does look good.

@@CazualHaze I really love this design! Do you have any prints for this you are willing to share?
Did you make the die holder for your lathe as well? That is a nice tool.
      Thank you!

I love your channel and your videos, you just gained a new subscriber. As a recommendation, I would ask if you could activate the automatic subtitles for the next videos. thanks and great job

That masking tape was tenacious. Gluing to the tape basically puts all the holding stress on the tape. You can directly glue to your minipallet of course. But that is a tougher cleanup. I love that single flute cutter of yours. A rather impressive surface finish.

      Thanks Kravchenko Audio,
First time I tried masking tape it was a bit scary. Now I think it’s a great way to hold the part.
I made that cutter to see if I could get through spindle coolant to work on a home shop mill.
The three flute version is a real beast and can use all the meagre horsepower the mill has.

Very nice, and the super glue holding was impressive! I've used super glue and sticky tape but only on plastic, not brave enough to use it to cut steel!
