Is the cv axel the same one for both sides driver and passenger?

@Craig Kallberg I just did both the driver's side and passenger side of my wife's G5, same as the cobalt. They were both the same part and I didn't have to pull any suspension parts out.

Cobalt Front Intermediate Axle Stub Shaft IS NOT FUN , HARD TO FIND NEW REPLACEMENT
If that was my car, I would have concerns over the strength/stability/vibration of the adaptor on the end of the shaft. Thank you for sharing.

Found it. It’s called an Auto Trans Output Shaft, some call it a stub shaft. Part number is 28766-05405776. Make sure to get a seal kit with it 28766-07583811
@@TheWolverine-rm2kr It's supposed to feel a little loose in there, it's just held in place by that retaining ring.
