@@OneShotSlinger I think they were referring to the fact that gendered lyric lines such as 'man' are technically incorrect because the character is supposed to be female in this version.

This cover is truly incredible, you've taken a male vocal role and managed not only to do a fantastic job simply covering the part, but more incredibly, you've injected a degree of characterization into your performance that usually is lacking in covers. I would say you did a fantastic job, but those words aren't sufficient to convey how amazing you were. Thank you for posting this, truly.
Honestly, I like this better than the original. I think that it makes even more sense for Frolo to be so disturbed by his lust for Esmeralda if they were of the same gender (regardless of whether Esmerelda was genderbent to a male or Frolo to a female) because of how homosexuality was viewed by the church in those days. Maybe it's just me, but that's my thoughts on the matter. Also, your voice is incredible! I love the emotion you put into this performance. Bravissimo!,
I think the key in deciding which version of Hellfire you like most out of all the covers and adaptations is what you want the singer to feel at each part. The subtle little ways they sing each bit and what emotion they put into each word. I've clicked out of some versions halfway through the song because I just thought 'nope, that's not right.' To me, this is the very best. It captures the struggle between desire, duty, and anger at feeling forced to choose a side. Even down to the word, the emotion shifts in all the right places and this cover just sends chills through me. Also, while probably more due to the nature of singing over the score rather than trying to re-score it, this actually fixes my main problem with the original version. The singing got lost, which in a song as lyrically and vocally driven as this one, is quite a notable error. So, even trying to ignore my biased for female singers, I think this is better than the original even.
Never thought this song could turn out so well as a female version, but you top all the male covers I have found. You act it out more than the others. Really incredible. I still enjoy the Disney original the most, but you are right after that. :D What a mistress.
Not only is this one of my favorite covers anyone has ever done, it's also my favorite song. I love the emotion and drama you put into it, and I listen to it all the time! This is fantastic!
The original one is a "classic"! You took a "classic" and made it PERFECTION!!! Not anyone can do this! Even regarding homosexuality, IT WORKS, especially in this day and age!
What makes me love this all the more is the concept. Draw up your own reasons on this, but the thought of a prominent female figure, in these times at least, fixated- nay, obsessed with- this one individual named Esmerelda! That is single-handedly my favorite part about this. The slowly building tension as more and more of the singer's feelings come out.. what a testament to the passion. And in passion, there exists a dangerous inner circle. It only takes a single trigger to send the bullet flying, and the same goes for individual's desires. It starts so calm, yet urgent. As soon as you hear, "Is driving me to sin," it becomes clear that these feelings are not benevolent. The danger in her voice is apparent, and with the power to send the Church after one individual, next to no one can stop her. "I'll find her.. I'll find her if I have to burn down all of Paris!" That line goes a long way to measuring just how large this obsession has grown, and every last chord from your voice tells what words can't. TL;DR: This deserves attention the world over, and justly so!
Omg you noticed it too, these are the same reasons which i love this song, the build up of tension and how quick a person can snap from a small thought to an obsession
Everyone who said that she should have changed "man" to "human" or "dame", remember the time period this is in. It only adds another layer of character and angst to the entire feel. Imagine Mistress Frolo, who struggled agenst sexisum In a world where Man is in every way more holy, more trustworthy, and less likely to be tempted by the devil she got to the top in her profession and is one of the most holy people only to have everything jeopardised by by not only lust, but Lusting for another woman. To me, this means so much more that perfectly gender changed lyrics
@@clivebby4877 The problem is that originally, in English, the word for a man was "wer", the word for a woman was "wif", and the word for a human was "man", which made it gender neutral. When English switched over to man and wifman to describe the sexes, it ended up referring only to one gender.
Absolutely wonderful. I love how making Frollo a woman gives the scene even darker and more twisted implications of self-loathing and misplaced blame. She'd be like Joan of Arc gone horribly off the rails. The song was PERFECTLY performed. The new range reminds me of Madame Morrible from Wicked, and it's still deeply chilling to hear her go madder and madder from defensiveness.
What's great about this being sung as a woman is that it actually gives Frollo a tinge of tragedy. When you consider the context of Frollo's heavy religious position, and damnation, mutilation and execution of same-sex couples in Frances past, the internal struggle becomes much deeper, volatile, and eternally tearing than the original.
@@pisces2569 well, both then if we assume she, in this scenario, is a trans-man who does not have a possibility to come out to the world because 'that's not a thing' and rather behaves like Elizabeth the second calling himself a man in part due to the male implication of the position or truly just in self recognition while to the fellow priests, or nuns since I don't believe women were really allowed in church or to be priests, him loving a woman would still be viewed as homosexuality since, regardless of what he'd say or do, to them he would eternally 'remain a woman'.
Hey Elsie Lovelock! You and annapantsu should get together and do "The plagues-The Prince of Egypt" I think it will be interesting blend with both your voices. (She's another cover artist who genderbended this song.) Love your voice and hope you go far in life with it. :)
I've never had my heart pound so hard for a song I wasn't playing or singing. This is beautiful and I hope you keep making things like this, such a powerful voice....
Thank you so much Caroline, really happy it brought out a feeling in you like this song did to me when I sang it :D thank you for your lovely comment!!
Hearing this song being sung by a female makes it all the more powerful. Imagine a female Frollo (Freda? Frolla? Frida?) being tormented by having such a strong desire for Esmeralda. In addition to her hate of Gypsies, she believes her lust for the same sex is beyond sinful (being the incredibly pious person she is) yet she cannot help but feel this way. Imagine the internal conflict. The intense struggle with her hatred, her virtues and her sexuality. Also I think "Righteous Soul" would have been a great replacement for "righteous man". Great deliverance of the song Sweet Poffin! :)
It's not my fault, I'm not to blame! It is that youtube vid that still keeps me awake! It's not my fault, If in God's plan, he made me listen this at 3:20 aaammmmmmmm!
There are so many people who try to cover this song and they just dont capture the pain in singing the words of this song. ***** hits almost every point in this song to me, about 90% of it. She has her own flavor to the feel and it works
I agree. This song is near impossible to sing AND act. I gave it a shot, and was soooo glad that during the recording there was noone there except me, because of all the stupid face I made lol. Sweetpoffin kicks severe butt!!
You know, I actually like your version a bit more than the original. You're able to have this...presence I guess, in your voice that really makes it sound like your character is being corrupted by sin. Not in terms of woman liking woman, definitely not. More in the sense of coveting, manic desire, all that which the character of Frolo was guilty of; you just make it sound so much more tangible. Does that make sense?
The sheer amount of power you have in this is just amazing. The addition of a vibrato at the right moments made an even bigger impact than your baseline power. It's just damn amazing, I wish I could have done a male cover with this much power in my last performance in high school.
Perfect tone for this song, and a perfect twist to the plot; if Frollo were a female member of the religious life of the time, she would face horrible feelings of self-loathing given her own homosexuality, and worry about the public ridicule. Your voice is perfect.
"The man turned, his heart now set on capturing her for his own. His gaze looked towards the sunset, only for it to be stripped away, for the last rays of the Sun reached him, and brought forth true hellfire." Amazing cover, Elsie. Brilliant job.
If Frollo had been a younger(~30s) female church member(secretly pulling all the strings), I think you would have been a great fit. It's unfortunate that people would have flipped their shit if that happened at the time, though. Even now, too many would freak out at the thought of a religious woman lusting after another woman.
I never really taught of Frollo lusting over Esmeralda i was so young and now i re watch and i'm like wow Disney was so daring back then😂😂 Now i see Frollo is a pope or priest and he is falling in love (sexually) with Esmelralda and that is a sin so he wants to kill her thinking that the desire to want her will deaseapear so stupid😂😂😂
I think you and annapantsu nailed this song both in your own unique ways. Your final notes are just breathtaking. I've been listening to both versions on repeat.
It still works though. At least in my church (but I'm UU so it's already a little different) "Minister" is gender neutral. "Mistress" brings out the sinister vibes pretty well, though!
Pimpernel Lastname Yeah, in most religions (including Catholocism, as indicated in this movie), ministers/pastors/preachers have to be male, so that "had" to be changed to be accurate. :)
Daniel Wells Frollo isn't a minister in the movie pretty sure. He's a judicial minister of Paris, assumed to be a religious (dominican-esque) judicial minister.
Wow I can really hear the emotion in the voice! The way you put the emotion was actually showing having to deal with sin, lust, and corruption, it was simply amazing!
A year later, still listening on repeat. 1:15 "This fire in my skin." Sooo hypnotic and lovely. And THANK YOU for crediting the artist. Beautiful image and too much art theft on TH-cam.
It might be years until I animate this into something but your voice is inspirational and astoundingly fit for this song. I heard it in 2015 and still come back from time to time. The passion is perfect. I succ at animating but I'll make sure this is gonna be just as incredible as your voice 😭
***** That is even fitting, from a female priestess, loving a female gypsy, that is a sin (in the eyes of many religious people not mine tho) so the fact that you didnt change the lyrics was pretty smart, hold my like please PS: I LOVE YOUR VOICE
after listening to this cover for years, i can honestly say i like this better than the original and i like the original A LOT. your voice is very expressive and it adds so much to the already amazing lyrics!!! wonderfully done elsie 🧡🧡
Godaaaaaamnit, I listen it too much. You are better than all the other covers, better than men cover, and better than the original one. That's awesome.
Just saw it as you said. I like his voice, but it's less impressive than Elsie Lovelock imo. For that kind of song men can't be more impressive than women I think
I love his "One punch man" and "the bells of notre dame" !! But I don't think his voice is really amazing. Like the average good metal voice. Also, he's always making ads on his videos, with "SUBSCRIBE" and "DONATE" always covering the screen and that bothers me a little.
I'm not sure if you intended the new levels of meaning implied by the song being sung by a woman, but either way, it's brilliant. The song already deals with themes of repression as Frollo's inner conflict brought on by his lust is consuming him, but I'm just imagining how much more powerful the character would have been had Frollo been a woman. Again, I'm not sure if this was intentional, but it made your cover all the more interesting. At any rate, you did the song justice! One of my fav Disney songs and you really nailed it. Nice job!
This is the BEST Hellfire cover I've heard, by far. You understand the feelings of despair, hopelessness and utter anger that Frollo felt. Giiirl, it was AWESOME, keep the amazing work!
I think the fact that Frollo is interpreted by a female voice actually makes it more interesting. Not only is the character conflicted by the fact that she loves a gipsy, but also because that gipsy is a girl, and that adds a nice double meaning to the song
You have a stunning voice that fits perfectly as a villain, I would love to hear your voice as a Disney villain. You should definitely audition for a part in a Disney film.
To be honest I like the idea of a female Frollo and she's still in love with Esmerelda which would make her feelings even more of an abomination in her eyes thus giving this EVEN more power than it does already (a CONSIDERABLE amount, I might add)
Your voice is so wonderful and the cover is marvellous~ (Btw I left one of my friends speechless when I showed her this)~ Also, have you ever thought about doing "Oogie Boogie Song" from Nightmare before Christmas or "In the Dark of the Night from Anastasia? I'd be awesome~
+Elsie Lovelock Got to agree with the Oogie Boogie idea! I really enjoyed your other, dramatic performances, but your stand-out performance for me is Friends On The Other Side. It's lighthearted, fun and unique, and you nailed all 3 of these major points to the song. Oogie's song is even more of a challenge due to Oogie's quick changes in attitude and tone. It'd be great to see if you can pull it off!

This is amaising. Threr are no words in the dictionary to describe any of your covers. I love them. Expecialy sence this is my favouite disney villan song
this is by far my favorite female cover of this song. you did a ridiculously good job of keeping the dark and powerful sound of the original song without making it sound whiny. keep it up :)
I would totally watch a dark, lesbian themed thriller about obsession and lust within the church based on this song :') hot and disturbing, just the way i like it! xD
Judge Frollo actually could easily be played by a woman. Especially since the church considers homosexuality a sin, it makes perfect sense that Lady Frollo would be especially tormented by her desire for Esmeralda... wanting her dead for making her have those thoughts and yet wanting her at the same time.
too bad women weren't considered people in that time period so idk if they could have such a position but sounds like an awesome concept especially if she was like already married to a man but started to lust for a woman
Zex Simeon She could be married, but doesn't have to be. Disney's Frollo is celibate and he considers himself a very controlled individual which is part of the reason why he is so angered by his hard to control desire for Esmeralda. If played by a Female the choice for a life of judgement on others & celibacy makes even more sense. By choosing such a life of religious control within the church she may have thought that she successfully "cured" herself of the homosexual thoughts of her youth until Esmeralda came along and popped that bubble. In real life this is often exactly what happens with these gay religious types who get heavily involved in their place of worship to keep themselves in denial anyway, so it fits. I live in NYC and Shakespeare plays here often have male roles played by females if it can easily be done so without changing the play much. Often they just set the play to a later time to explain this, but sometimes they just make it a version of Earth where women just had these societal roles available back then. Either way the audience never complains. I think this is one of those roles that could easily be played by either a male or a female without having to change the script. (except for the couple of times Frollo refers to himself as a "good man". They'd have to change that to "good soul." No biggie.)
Zex Simeon Even in that era, she wouldn't necessarily have to be married. In fact, considering Frollo's supposed to be an Archdeacon in the original, just change her to an Abbess and it works.
So, Elsie, I was just listening to this cover. I'm home alone with my sister, who has down syndrome, and while listening to the song, she just walked over to the computer, sat down, and began singing along with you. Your voice is magical... It managed to entrance my sister.... Love you, Elsie!
Out of all covers i think this is my favourite. Not only because her voice is stunning but also because you can hear the same emotions as the original version. This aint no ordinary cover.
This is, by far, my favorite cover of this song, - I think I even listen to it more than the original! I love the emotion put into it, I just... wooooooooooo!! Yeah, it's friggen awesome.
Jeeeezus christ what a fucking performance. The vocal control and characterization is amazing, the timber crisp, and just, my god...amazing. you should be on broadway headlining every show. Seriously, holy fuck, incredible.
Have you considered covering "God Help The Outcasts"? I think that with your voice it will be equally breathtaking. I love this cover though, can't get enough of it :)
That was AWESOME... and if I may, not only do you have a great voice, but what really works here is that you really capture the spirit of Tony's (amazing!) original performance, both desperate, distraught and enraged. And while I'd never thought about it before, hearing this and another female cover version of this song made me think that a female Frollo would make the character even darker yet more sympathetic, someone who's unable to accept who they are and their own desires in the face of their beliefs and upbringing. I do wish we'd had "righteous girl", though, to complete the illusion, but regardless this is just flat-out fantastic work; Tony's original made this one of my favourite songs ever, and you absolutely nailed it! Instant subscribe!
I love how in your covers you aren't afraid to shout! It's unlike most female covers of songs like this, which are generally sounding delicate and soft. But you're different, and that makes it unique!
Man 3 years late to this how did I not find this there are no words. As far as the line "Righteous Man" I think with how the music plays out and the tempo in order to keep the same flow "Righteous Soul" would fit better in it. But this was still amazing even with that.
I can picture it now
Guard 1) "hey, is he okay in there?"
Guard 2) "yeah, he does this every time he meets a girl"

And anyone to say otherwise, well, BURN IN HELLFIRE!!!!!
Brandon Pierre a bit over dramatic, don't you think?
Keagz13 don't start with me, brother!!!!!
I'll find her if I have to burn down all of Paris!"
That line goes a long way to measuring just how large this obsession has grown, and every last chord from your voice tells what words can't.
Man can also refer to humans in generak ie. "Mankind"
She should've changed it in the opening lines, but that's it.
MysteryFlavour exactly what I have been saying. BTW could you please make this fanfic if you can please?
Considering the lyrics “I am a righteous man” remain unchanged, I think the tragedy is more on the lines of gender identity than sexual orientation
Pisces "man" could mean man or woman in terms of the bible...
Pisces righteous man is was used by both Men and women in the Bible context
YES YES YES YES, A MILLION TIMES YES
YES YES YES YES, A MILLION TIMES YES
I would pay to thumb this comment up more times xD
Holy hell that would be awesome!
YES
Dear Lord this is incredible, you have the pipes of a literal God
It could even be better than the original
I've never had my heart pound so hard for a song I wasn't playing or singing. This is beautiful and I hope you keep making things like this, such a powerful voice....
Thank you so much Caroline, really happy it brought out a feeling in you like this song did to me when I sang it :D thank you for your lovely comment!!
I think this cover has a lot more emotion than the other covers. Love it
Hearing this song being sung by a female makes it all the more powerful.
Actually, it would still be Frollo, as that's his surname. His full name is Claude Frollo, thus his female counterpart would be Claudia Frollo.
KOSMOSandTELOS I see! I didn't realize that. Claudia does sound as intimidating as Claude.
Just as chilling as the male version. Nicely done m'lady!
*tips fadora*
Better!
+Japanese Businessman
give me my fedora back!
I prefer the original but this is really something. Amazing vocal work.
Ew
It's not my fault, I'm not to blame! It is that youtube vid that still keeps me awake!
It's not my fault, If in God's plan, he made me listen this at 3:20 aaammmmmmmm!
I know right?
Lol nice
+Angel Wolves1 I'm confused...how is this YT video terrible?
Saaaaame hahah it's 3:33 here
😂😂 This is perfect
Let's all drop religious and sexual orientation comments and focus on the fact that Elsie got her boyfriend to call him an idiot.
Hm true and lol hi robin
Tactician Robin HAHAHAAH!! He's used to it ;D lmao kidding but your comment made me laugh so hard!!
Hey you! Tactician Robin, why dyu keep popping up everywhere i go? Lol just kidding. Couple o'places is all.
***** Well your reply made me laugh, even when I read the part you said you were kidding.
WHY CAN'T THERE BE MORE LIKE BUTTON!!!??????
WHY?!!!!!!
beautiful. 😭
+Archangel Otaku ...That's a great way to explain the power she puts into this song. Well said.
+Sirony Channel
Glad I could articulate it that way.
Also the fact that unlike frollo she braking two religious laws of that time a lust for a person while being sworn to the church and same sex love
Yesssss same thoughts
I liked the original one better since I think it had better vocals but again that my opinion
God, this is just gorgeous. I agree with the people saying it's well-acted; you captured the character perfectly.
His gaze looked towards the sunset, only for it to be stripped away, for the last rays of the Sun reached him, and brought forth true hellfire."
Amazing cover, Elsie. Brilliant job.
THIS IS IT! The song that made me gay
+Sophovot *hi five*
+Sophovot lesbo gay or guy gay?
Charles Koenecke lesbian gay, what a question
(Wide evil grin)
And giv uz the JIUCY deets;D
If Frollo had been a younger(~30s) female church member(secretly pulling all the strings), I think you would have been a great fit. It's unfortunate that people would have flipped their shit if that happened at the time, though. Even now, too many would freak out at the thought of a religious woman lusting after another woman.
it would make the movie extra interesting tho
Becky J I agree. I'd love to see a scenario like this played out.
+Rowan Buchanan A female Frollo could also be a nun or Mother Superior (lead nun).
+Rowan Buchanan the priest in my city is a lesbian, she married this summer (y)
I honestly prefer this version to the original version. This one is more emotional and has a stronger impact than the original
I think you and annapantsu nailed this song both in your own unique ways. Your final notes are just breathtaking. I've been listening to both versions on repeat.
This cover adds another interesting layer to Frollo's song. You should be proud.
I love how the guard says "Mistress Frollo" instead of "Minister Frollo"!
Thank you! That's my boyfriend doing that and he thought of that XD
I thought in this version, she would be some sort of leader of a female monastery, who are usually called "Mothers."
Daniel Wells Frollo isn't a minister in the movie pretty sure. He's a judicial minister of Paris, assumed to be a religious (dominican-esque) judicial minister.
Your voice. Is PERFECT for this song. Oh my god.
This is 100% my favorite cover of this song.
Hhuu to it
I know I'm probably not the first one to say this, but I'll say it anyways: SOMEONE MAKE THIS WOMAN A DISNEY VILLAIN.
religious Lesbian love.
As if "the hunchback of Notre Dame" wasn't controversial enough.
I infinitely prefer this version over any other. Period. The emotion just is something else and gives me goosebumps every time!
Wow I can really hear the emotion in the voice! The way you put the emotion was actually showing having to deal with sin, lust, and corruption, it was simply amazing!
Wow, if Tony Jay was still alive, I'm sure he'd be proud of this cover!!!
A year later, still listening on repeat. 1:15 "This fire in my skin." Sooo hypnotic and lovely.
And THANK YOU for crediting the artist. Beautiful image and too much art theft on TH-cam.
She wasn't kidding when she said she was gonna burn down Paris ;-;
**Notre Dame has left the chat**
My most favourite Hellfire female cover on youtube for sure! That voice, gives me the real chills every time.
It might be years until I animate this into something but your voice is inspirational and astoundingly fit for this song. I heard it in 2015 and still come back from time to time. The passion is perfect. I succ at animating but I'll make sure this is gonna be just as incredible as your voice 😭
This is one of the best covers I've ever heard. WOW.
Wow, the guy who does the guard in the intermission sounds exactly like the guard in the movie. Weird.
Sperium3000 Thank you! My boyfriend is really talented :D
***** Wow really bravo on having him with you he sure can copy a voice like that
***** That is even fitting, from a female priestess, loving a female gypsy, that is a sin (in the eyes of many religious people not mine tho) so the fact that you didnt change the lyrics was pretty smart, hold my like please
PS: I LOVE YOUR VOICE
Thank you so much!! :D
Oh sweet God. I love you. I really do.
+Giulia Cividini Thank you I love you too bby
I ship it
+Ocean Mackenzie Call it... Giusie. Or Elslia.
Yay shipping
That's sweet. Really it is
Do I hear an applause?
Cause you just won an Emmy!!
I saw this
Yesenia The Hedgehog it's epic right?
Yeah
Yesenia The Hedgehog hell yeah
Yesika Narvaez Wow, I wish! XD
Oh. My. God. This cover is just everything. You sound so deliciously evil and UNF those high notes are just perfection. A++++++ freaking love this ♥
Thank you so so much!! I'm so happy you like it and that really means a lot!! Much love
after listening to this cover for years, i can honestly say i like this better than the original and i like the original A LOT. your voice is very expressive and it adds so much to the already amazing lyrics!!! wonderfully done elsie 🧡🧡
Godaaaaaamnit, I listen it too much. You are better than all the other covers, better than men cover, and better than
the original one. That's awesome.
Imaginexall have you seen Caleb hyles cover of hellfire?
Just saw it as you said. I like his voice, but it's less impressive than Elsie Lovelock imo. For that kind of song men can't be more impressive than women I think
And what about Jonathan Young ?
Not only is the character conflicted by the fact that she loves a gipsy, but also because that gipsy is a girl, and that adds a nice double meaning to the song
this is by far the best female cover of this song i’ve found. ggs
1:39 The lil quiver in your voice adds so much to the characterization !
Couldn't agree with you more!
Holy crap, this is FLAWLESS. Her voice is just made for these ballads. Plus, her show tunes? Perfection. Love it all!
Your voice is so wonderful and the cover is marvellous~
(Btw I left one of my friends speechless when I showed her this)~
Also, have you ever thought about doing "Oogie Boogie Song" from Nightmare before Christmas or "In the Dark of the Night from Anastasia? I'd be awesome~
+Sam Kim Thank you so much!! :D I haven't done Oogie Boogie yet but I've done In The Dark Of The Night, you can find that on my channel :D
+Elsie Lovelock How about "rightious girl"?
Lyrics
Confiteor Deo Omnipotenti (I confess to God almighty)
Beatae Mariae semper Virgini (To blessed Mary ever Virgin)
Beato Michaeli archangelo (To the blessed archangel Michael)
Sanctis apostolis omnibus sanctis (To the holy apostles to all the saints)
Beata Maria
You know I am a righteous man
Of my virtue I am justly proud
Et tibit Pater (And to you, Father)
Beata Maria
You know I'm so much purer than
The common, vulgar, weak, licentious crowd
Quia peccavi nimis (That I have sinned)
Then tell me, Maria
Why I see her dancing there
Why her smold'ring eyes still scorch my soul
Cogitatione (In thought)
I feel her, I see her
The sun caught in her raven hair
Is blazing in me out of all control
Verbo et opere (In word and dee
Like fire
Hellfire
This fire in my skin
This burning
Desire
Is turning me to sin
It's not my fault
Mea culpa (Through my fault)
I'm not to blame
Mea culpa (Through my fault)
It is the gypsy girl
The witch who sent this flame
Mea maxima culpa (Through my most griveous fault)
It's not my fault
Mea culpa (Through my fault)
If in God's plan
Mea culpa (Through my fault)
He made the devil so much
Stronger than a man
Mea maxima culpa (Through my most griveous fault)
Protect me, Maria
Don't let this siren cast her spell
Don't let her fire sear my flesh and bone
Destroy Esmeralda
And let her taste the fires of hell
Or else let her be mine and mine alone
Hellfire
Dark fire
Now gypsy, it's your turn
Choose me or
Your pyre
Be mine or you will burn
Kyrie Eleison (Lord have mercy)
God have mercy on her
Kyrie Eleison (Lord have mercy)
God have mercy on me
Kyrie Eleison (Lord have mercy)
But she will be mine
Or she will burn
Thank you
This *cannot* be the same person who was cheerfully singing about rainbows. I- I can't- the emotional and vocal range on this singer is insane.
can I just say that I love the fact that you legitimately sound evil in these? Like, seriously, I think I'm in love with you and normally I'm no homo
c'mere baby ~
***** eeeeeeeeeeee
***** You made something bad ... you don´t sound like in sexual desire here ... you sound ... in love

This is amaising. Threr are no words in the dictionary to describe any of your covers. I love them. Expecialy sence this is my favouite disney villan song
Fan of Joshscorcher? That's how I found this video.
It was on my recomended
this is by far my favorite female cover of this song. you did a ridiculously good job of keeping the dark and powerful sound of the original song without making it sound whiny. keep it up :)
Oooh Romantically Apocalyptic picture! And AMAZING COVER! Actually sounds like a heroic song with the way you sing it.
I would totally watch a dark, lesbian themed thriller about obsession and lust within the church based on this song :') hot and disturbing, just the way i like it! xD
I shit you not, this has to be Elsie's best Disney cover so far (IMO)! Literally can *NOT* stop listening to it!
Zex Simeon Whats sad is that some STILL dont consider women people.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
Yeah, it's friggen awesome.
omg, the fact that you're bisexual and I'm bisexual make this cover even better than it already was
Jeeeezus christ what a fucking performance. The vocal control and characterization is amazing, the timber crisp, and just, my god...amazing. you should be on broadway headlining every show.
Seriously, holy fuck, incredible.
As a bisexual woman my self I thought your voice was both powerful and seductive. I simply loved it.
Have you considered covering "God Help The Outcasts"? I think that with your voice it will be equally breathtaking. I love this cover though, can't get enough of it :)
Nevermind found it :P
Chills down my back! It's so hard to find covers that convey the same emotion as the original song and I think you absolutely nailed it!
Holy **** you're amazing! You don't only sing it great and have a great voice, but you act it vocally too.
I love how in your covers you aren't afraid to shout! It's unlike most female covers of songs like this, which are generally sounding delicate and soft. But you're different, and that makes it unique!
This has to be the greatest cover that I have ever heard for the greatest villain song that Disney ever made... and will never make again.
Simply wonderful. You and your boyfriend have great talent and voices.
ScarletDusk99 Thank you so much :D !!
***** You're welcome. You guys rock
Best version hands down. No competition. The acting, the emotion, the range, all perfect.
It's been 9 years but I still haven't seen anyone top this version.
I wish that your covers were on iTunes. I would totally buy music from you!
I can hear Elsie's Frollo goes "desire" at 1:21 like all day everyday for the rest of my days
Man 3 years late to this how did I not find this there are no words. As far as the line "Righteous Man" I think with how the music plays out and the tempo in order to keep the same flow "Righteous Soul" would fit better in it. But this was still amazing even with that.
