    I've use to go out hunting for fast cars and bikes when i first got the ZZR but I got bored as it was always too easy! 😅. but this video made me chuckle and remember those days! Now i find myself behaving because people have dashcams and the hefty right hand stuff is getting harder to do without repercussion in the UK. Still have the odd Rossi moments now and then 👌

      Sorry for the delay in replying. I am lucky in that where I live is like being in the UK in the 70"s. Speed is dicatated by the road conditions. If I had stayed in the UK I would now be in Jail.

      It still surprises many people when you give it some stick and a few changes to the suspension and rotating the concentric chain adjusters sharpens up the handling and makes turn in very sharp without losing high speed stability.

      @@honda4004 Hi mate, I am also English. I have fitted a Hyperpro rear shock and Progressive Fork Springs, again from Hyperpro. When you order from them they ask you questions regarding weight, type of riding etc to get the set up correct. Of course there is no limit on how much you can pay but I see no need to have a remote set up as it is not a track day machine. The concentric chain adjusters are just rotated 180 degrees. So instead of having the 3 tear shaped hole at the bottom they are at the top. They raise the rear by just over an inch and it sharpens the steering a great deal. If you follow the links to my website you will see the position of the adjusters when I found the bike and the second link will take you what they look like after rotating. There is a lot of other info on the ZZR 110 on the site.

    Can you still get parts from Kawasaki or do you have to buy from breakers/specialists?

    • @MichaelZZRrider
      @MichaelZZRrider  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi, Kawasaki still sell many parts. There are some that I have sourced from Japanese breakers but they tend to be the really expensive items. For example I purchased a set of carbs from them that were completely refurbished for 250 USD which is a fraction of the price they cost new. By and large I have had no issues buying parts from Kawasaki.

      Hi, the temp is the right hand dial mate. It is halfway or just above. That is normal operating temp in the tropics. Once you start up and run for a couple of mins the fan is always running. Its the same on my other bikes as well.

    How much quicker does this feel compared to a zzr600 anyone know

    • @MichaelZZRrider
      @MichaelZZRrider  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi mate the 600 is a great machine which is why it was produced for so many years. Any machine thst can do 150mph is fast. The 1100 is however in a different league. The acceleration of the 1100 makes the 600 feel slow. Obviously, the top speed of the 1100 is a lot higher but it is also much faster in every aspect of performance.
