I do think it’s pretty good, but the elements of Bleach that shine brightest to me are without a doubt the action and power system
I love the writing...but kubo writes like a musician...he created bleach for both casual and obsession fans..
@@jaydonefilms you sound like your in 20s or so. The points kubo is providing us is very adult oriented...so reread around 30 or 35 and you will get it better. I have bands I LOVE in 00s now those songs iit me different... Bleach does this. Great vid
@@hollowify_tensa_zangetsu I will definitely consider a rewatch some day! Maybe when all of the TYBW finishes airing, I'll go back and rewatch it all. Also thank you very much!
@@jaydonefilmswell bleach wasn’t carried only by action as jjk, but by the story and unique universe and protagonist also.
16:32 I disagree a bit here Kubo's strong suit are concept/artstyle, forshadowing and plot twist. Depending if you watch the anime or read the manga I would say its better to read up to the tybw anime since the OG anime is a bit outdated with pacing and are less accurate to the manga.
Kenshin got a manga continuation by the same writer which started a few years ago
Please, give Fairy Tail a chance. It may not be on the same par as the big 3 and the story definitely has flaws, but that's not big enough to outshine the positives. The fights are pretty good, the music is phenomenal, it has very funny moments, and in my opinion one of the most lovable character casts I've ever seen.
6:56 please watch it, I finished it a few months ago and it already cemented itself in my list of best anime’s ever. The characters and fights are fantastic, and it makes me excited to watch its younger sibling series, HxH
P.S. haven’t read the manga, but I know the mangas beginning arc is slightly different, and the ending is VERY different and liked much more in the anime version
Fist Of The North Star is the great grand daddy of all shonen anime.🗿
Did yk kenshin inspired yorrichi from demon slayer
does reborn and fairy tail have a power system?
Yes
Fairy Tail's power system is magic
Reborn's is the Dying will Flame (I call it the guardian ring system) it's got a lot of depth and gets even bigger when the boxes are added (won't explain for spoiler reasons)
Gintama is by far the greatest shounen of all time. Anyone who's seen it will agree!
Can you also do Seinen?
i plan on it at some point!
Call it generic, but Dragon Ball Z is still my favorite Shounen
Akira Toriyama changed the world
Calling it generic is like calling lord of the rings generic. It created/popularized most of the shonen tropes you see in every shonen these days so you can't say it's generic because everything it does wasn't generic until people start copying it.
Bro watch Fairy tail
why weren't you able to watch yuyu hakusho when you were a kiddd????
11:00 togashi no longer has back issues it only affected him for 2 weeks he's just genuinely burnt out of repeatedly creating series
YOU FORGOT SAINT SEIYA!!!
Bro talk abt One Punch Man too
One Punch Man is a seinen, I plan on covering it when I explain seinen anime
Ruroni kenshin bleach one peice dragon ball naruto and jjk are my favorites and vinland saga and vagabond
Aww man, no Saint Seiya. 😔
Soul eater is not in shonen jump
Don't worry if mangaka has cp on his pc it's only for references to draw a better manga!
Definitely stick with what you said in the video and DO NOT watch Fairy Tail. It was ok at first but then took a nose dive
it might be "boring" for people at the beginning but trust me its really good
Watashi no na wa kira yoshikage nenrei san ju san sai
Bleach’s writing is actually very nuanced when you look deeper into it
Kakubhaci
It’s insane how much you underrate Rurouni Kenshin just because of the controversy. Togashi’s works are the only other shonen that are on the same level of writing as Rurouni Kenshin.
i note how unique it was, especially at its time, and i also mention that it has compelling character and story writing. i also explain how it has inspired numerous stories that have come after it. with all of this being said, i think it's no doubt worth focusing on who the person that created it is and what he has done, as i don't want to encourage anyone to go and buy his work since i think it'd be wrong to give him money. i think he made a good story, but i don't think it's ethically right to support him financially in any way, which is why i made sure to emphasize his wrongdoings
@@jaydonefilms I’m not defending him at all, but I’m just saying that he absolutely wrote a beautiful story that deserves to be put in the same conversation as works like HxH and FMA.
My hero academia is not a fighting shonen. It's a rescuing shonen.
Well Naruto created the inner demon trope
No it didn’t
No Flame of Recca, Kekkaishi, Zatch Bell, etc.
are you new to anime, your pronunciation is boo boo
I just lack in my speaking abilities in general
@@jaydonefilms well good job then
Katekyo Hitman Reborn is one of the worst series the Shonen Jump has ever serialized
It's not awful, the Daily Life arc is kinda eh but the Varia and Future arcs are amazing, the ending kinda killed the love I had for it though
nah hyping up jojos is nasty work.
Jojo’s, DBZ and Fist of the North Star:🗿
