That’s awesome! Making your own maple syrup is a real labor of love-5 gallons is impressive! Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you have any tips or favorite techniques you’d recommend? Keep up the great work!
Hi there, thanks for pointing that out! You’re absolutely right-honey is naturally made in beehives. Our video was focused on the processing steps like extraction, filtering, and bottling that occur after the honey is harvested. I appreciate your clarification and insight. Thanks for watching and for engaging with the content!
Hi @BillWestgate, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I totally get the nostalgia for the old sugar house days with sugar on snow, donuts, pickles, and free samples - it really was a unique, fun experience. While modern technology helps streamline the process, it can sometimes feel like it takes a bit of the magic away. I appreciate your perspective, and who knows, maybe we’ll see a nod to those traditional methods in future videos. Thanks for watching and for your input!
@@SowMuchFun Maybe you should look for some sugaring houses in New Hampshire and Maine states that you did not mention. Some even have sleigh rides what a great family outing and you can bring home some maple syrup with memories.
I appreciate you sharing that - I’ll definitely consider featuring some of those traditional spots in a future video. Thanks for watching and for your input
I make mine at home about 5 gallons

Honey is not made in a factory. It is made in a beehive. It can be blended, extracted, bottled, filtered etc in the factory but not made.
