I'm confused about their statements of being a accredited investor on their questionnaire from Yieldstreet. It asks if you have made 200k+ in a year. But the legal requirements to be listed as a accredited investor is 200k in 2 years?
Excellent video! Could use some updating as Yieldstreet platform has changed, but the explanation and review really helps. I truly believe in alternative investments that generate high yield, as stocks and bonds never seem to work when you need them too.
As a Yieldstreet investor, this is very well done. Good work. If you talk to any Financial Advisor who deals with high net worth ($5M or more) people, they almost always have Alternatives as a big part of the portfolio if the people are older and looking for income. So this does align to that strategy. I am in my 50's so passive income is a focus, but I understand why it would not be for younger investors.
@@BonesRodriguez The one that I did and matured returned 9.5%. The two I am in now have a target return of 8% and 9.5%. (22 mo term) and the 8% is in their Prism fund. So far it's fine. I prefer Fundrise which is solely real estate but their maturities are more like 5 years.
@@jafp1617 Well, I don't like telling people what to invest in in case it goes wrong. I have some money in it, but not enough to be worried about. Be sure you understand what the offer is before you put money in.
The fact that they got scammed in a marine finance investment makes me take pause. I wonder about the experience and quality of people they have on board.
Groundfloor is solely focused on Real Estate loans, while Yieldstreet focuses on any "alternative asset" as they call it. That could be art, aviation, boats, etc.
Ok, ive subscribed. I understand that youre probably limitied on video time with commie tube. Although you gave a crash course for us novice investors. You could've elaborated with some numbers from their past performances. I dont need to know the analytics. For those of us that aren't numbers major, it'll be worthless anyway. I would just to see some numbers to deem if they're worthwhile investing with.
Way to fast. Take a breath.. slow it down and think about this. Most people watching a video are trying to learn. What's the definition of acretatid investor? I find most people who really know a subject and are really smart are not the best at making videos and people great at making videos are usually not that smart. You obviously know investing.

Well spoken, great info. Thank you for sharing this knowledge. Much appreciated.
Thanks! This was really helpful.
I appreciated your fee breakdown. I'll do $1K to see, but will stick with rentals and direct crypto buys. Thanks
Is the Annual Interest rate on a Short Term Note guaranteed like CD's?
Great video. Very informative
Glad it was helpful!

That was one of the reasons I personally chose not to invest
@@FinTek Hey, seriously, thanks for that very valuable information.

How is this different from Groundfloor?

So in 4 years, you only get 8% of your 1k?
They lost me when I saw they forced linking your bank account. Absolutely not. I run from anyone who tries to have access to my bank account.
So it looks like it's something for someone who already has a lot of money....
Don’t be discouraged ppl only 12 percent of the United States makes over 200k a year to qualify as an accredited investor!
lol, 14% default rate. Good luck.
zooooom out
Hey thanks. Buy I can read the brochure myself

Çoncur. They mean well, but in other Intro videos they also move too fast. We are not robots!
I sped up to 1.5 speed.
