I plan on setting up my TH-cam channel with doing alot of the same coveraged fyi that you're covering - I hope to reach a massive audience like yours.. keep doing what you- it seems like we learned alot from the same source (alla Dave Ramsey )
I'm learning from you too 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Would love to see a bit more in-depth comparison between Fundrise vs typical REITS offered via Vanguard or Schwab, etc. (similar to other offering 8% or higher) Potential appreciation plus Qualified dividend tax benefits and may be more liquid than Fundrise. I have Fundrise myself and it does pay what is to be an anticipated 8.5% this year. I also have my brokerage account as well. Would love to see YOUR comparison Marko. I'm curious. =)

@Open Ranks So over 6 months of a ZERO stress, ZERO work investment and it earned ~4.7% and that's not enough ??? I'll take that every Monday sir!!!!
I'm not suggesting that YOU'RE greedy, but I see a lot of investors that get mad if they don't earn double digit returns on their money... sadly those people are in for a rude awakening when the next bear market happens. Guys understand that the market has only averaged an ~ 7% return in it's life!!!! We have had an insane run on this bull market, and yes we have all made some serious money... but it has to lose it's steam, and when it does these "sub-par" measly 2 to 5% investments will be what offsets the big drops that are coming. I really hope our next correction is merely that... A CORRECTION, cause if it's a true RECESSION a lot of newly made millionaires will be broke!!!

@@iloveyourvibez I saw, thanks for using my referral too! I'm sitting at $2810, 1006 of it being IPO. I made a 6.8% return in 2019 netting $98. The IPO report had some fun stats - 988 million in assets under management (up 104%), 122544 active investors (up 94%), and 110 employees (up 45%) over the last year.
I did stop contributing and put it on supplemental income because I ended up buying 2 rental properties at the end of the year for 12% and 15% cash on cash returns soooo.
Fundrise is still cool though, I have a goal of getting it up to 10k and letting it ride.

If more people buy a Vanguard index/etf, Vanguard will just buy more apple, msft, etc. But Fundrise will need to invest in more properties which is not that easy... great content btw, not criticizing just trying to get a better understanding 😀

Hey, Marko, I was watching your videos to better understand basics and specifics of the economy and personal fineness, and I have to say that they are very helpful and the way you explain is so down to earth.
And thinking about US economy led me to a question: what will happen with us housing market in the near future in terms of the “student debt crisis”. So basically some studies mentioned in Wall Street journal indicated that the purchasing ability of the growing up generation is slowly going down. In your opinion to what changes ultimately will it lead to in term of real estate ?
My primary interest is in investing in rental/ flipping houses. It would be very interesting to see a video on this topic.

One thing you didn't cover is the exit plan. How do you get your money out? I don't mean quickly, but after 3+ years or so? do they have a sales window or is it based on when things sale like a typical crowd fund, etc. How do you ever leave the investment without penalty?

Marko - first off huge fan from TX! Thank you for your awesome videos. Would be interested to know your opinions on Real Estate Syndicates and if those are something you use in your own portfolio, pros/cons as well like you did in this Fundrise video.
    Thanks again!

I don't know anything about investing. Would investing in REITs or regular stock affect someone receiving SSI benefits?

Hi Marko, thanks for the information. I came across a Fundrise ad and decided to come to You tube to see of there were more information, Great video and very thorough, by the way. I am thinking of signing up. I do have one question regarding another real estate fund similar to this one. The name of the group is Dash. Just wondering if you are familiar with them, if so what are your thoughts about their platform. Thanks

Fredric W You should watch his other videos or read the reviews. The reviews from people that cashed out will give you a good idea on what can you expect.
