The verb that you used in this sentence is a linking verb that connects two nouns together. Today" is the subject (S) and functions as a noun. "is" is a linking verb (V) that connects the subject to the subject complement. "as cold as" is a comparative structure that introduces the comparison. "yesterday" is the object of comparison and also functions as a noun.🌺 Am I right?
