This is a very good video! English is my first language but I decided to watch this because it has been a long time since I have studied the rules in-depth. I would just like to point out that I immediately had an issue with the sentence, "physics is more interesting than maths." I found out that "maths" is actually a informal/slang shortening of the word mathematics which is mostly a British usage. In the Americas where English is spoken, "maths" looks like a pluralization of the word math which is never appropriate. I hope this is helpful and doesn't come off sounding nit-picky.
Thank you! I teach British English, and that's why I've used the word 'maths'. However, the information you have provided on the American usage is very interesting.

Thank you, Ms. Minoo. Your lessons are very useful as usual. However, I've a question, can I say ' bouncier or more bouncy'? Or both of them are acceptable?
Thank you i have under stood what comparlative and superlative words im fully ready for my test Thanks alot! This was very help ful for me i mean all of us!
Thank you! This is one of the best resources that explains the best about common mistakes when using repeated comparatives/superlatives in a same sentence :)
Hellooooo! I love all your videos, they are very useful when it comes down to improve my British English pronunciation and, of course, grammar. But after watching this video a question remained. I know there are some rules concerning the word "different". Do I really always have to use "that of" and "those of" when using "different"? Is it for all the adjectives? Thank you very much from a brazilian student who loves british culture!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback, David. I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you type out complete sentences to show me how you think you should use 'different'?
I saw the first time just what was estimated dwell However I will repeat this lesson until I understand ! Thank you for giving us this lesson$$ biggest like to seeing your video.
You're welcome. It's a very good idea to watch the lesson at least twice, and it will help to make some notes for yourself the second time you watch it.
Great vid. Could you please tell if this sentence right or wrong? Or which one is right “ she draws most beautifully among all my friends” or “ She draws the most beautifully among all my friends”
Thank you! Both are correct. With adverbs, you can drop 'the'. And, if there's no comparison, you must drop 'the': She sings most (=really) beautifully. If you're interested, here's a long thread with different answers to this question: www.englishforums.com/English/TheMostAdverb/bcppgx/post.htm
Hi, I really enjoy your videos. My former native English teacher always said: more easy or more simple. When we asked him why, he just replied that when it is better to pronounce we can say it as he did. I don´t remember which part of USA he comes from. May I ask you for your opinion? Thank you!
Thank you! To answer your question, with many two-syllable words like 'simple', both are usually correct. I would say that 'simpler' is more common. If you Google both, simpler has more hits than 'more simple'.
I don't have any questions concerning both superlative and comparative. However, I never know when and which to use in sentences like: "You're the person that I have talked the most" I never know if I should use 'the most'/'most'/'mostly'/'more'. What is the difference between these in the kind of context above mencioned?
As I explain in the lesson, with 2-syllable words, both are possible. Some, like 'angry' are more frequently used with 'er', and other, like 'jealous' with 'more'.

What's more dark? Or What's Darker?
Thank youuuu!
It's always 'darker'.
When we use i n the sentences comparative or superlative , because many sentenses i think comparative but you use superlative. tank you very much.
If you have two things / people, use the comparative form.
If you have more than two, use the superlative form.
