This episode annoyed me because in the life and times of scrooge comicbook (what this ducktales sort of uses as a source), Fergus (Scrooge's dad) was nothing but supportive of him and Scrooge's parents deaths were both really emotional things... Scrooge's mom died when he was looking for gold in Klondike and father died the morning him and his sisters left for Ducksburg.

@@klimmr Except for the S2 finale, I felt that the last half of S2 did come together a lot smoother, it didn't feel as well executed as well as the S1 finale, but I'll agree to disagree
@@exeggutivejudge3747 I just felt like in the Season 1 finale, there were 3 separate story arcs coming together with 3 separate tones that seemed to clash with each other; one sad, one intense and one comedic. Season 2 had the advantage of overlapping their 3 story arcs continously over the last 4 episodes so it felt more natural in the end.
@@klimmr The buildup to the finale was definitely better executed in season 2, but the finale itself, while I very much enjoyed it, definitely felt more like a victory lap than a climax like the season 1 finale did. While the stakes are very high in both finales, season 2's villain kind of felt like an empty threat. I really loved season 2's finale, but I think almost everyone can agree that the buildup was better than the payoff. Hopefully, season 3 will get the perfect blend of both finales!
