Be interesting to hear why Gamo is better than all the other manufacturers in urban areas and tight quarters , for pest control, brave statement to make, let's hope you have the information and proof to back such a claim! Sorry if this sounds like I am challenging you but unless there is something new to gamo I really doubt the validity of the title. Sounds like a sales pitch to me! As far as buying what everyone else is in big box stores, I don't base my purchases on such a thing, seen lots of terrible products over the years , and lots of people purchased them .
Hey there Jim, This video is with Airgun Angie and Tony from Gamo / Daisy. We were down shooting iguanas in South Florida. Given that it was a Gamo event, it's going to focus on Gamo products. With that said, the guides we worked will all shoot Gamo. Not becuase they have to, but becuase the've found them to be best for the job. They are lightweight, put out the right power (not too much, not too little), have a reliable 10 shot loading system, are accurate, and get the job done. Will other springers and breakbarrels also work.. sure.. will they work as well?? I'm not sure of that. When you go into a big box store down there, all the Gamo guns are off the shelves with other brands still sitting there. So take the video as it is. It's not a reveiw, it's about airgunning in urban enviroments and the gear that works to get it done. Cheers AGW
@@AirGunWeb I guess I am just frustrated with all the companies with there false advertising of fps/fpe and gamo is one of the top offenders. I will never buy one until they start talking in real number with ammo that we as the purchaser will be using. The minute I see the accurate numbers on the box the rifle comes in I will consider them a reputable company as it is all the crazy numbers they quote are to deceive the uninformed new purchaser. Why else put them there?
They are a little bit overpriced. Too many plastic on them. Trigger, safety, magazine, suppressor, feeding mechanism, breech, outer barrel. Poor quality seals. Expensive magazines 20$ for such a small piece of plastic. I have 2 gamo air rifles and i will never ever buy them again. Especially if they are overpriced in Czech Republic. There is more metal on the Chinese b3 50$ air rifle than on the 300-350 gamo air rifle and that is laughable
@@airgunhunter927 I agree with you I am not a fan of the amount of plastic, but if it keeps it light I guess that's a plus, but let see how many years they last. My biggest gripe is the foolish marketing. Who cares if it shoots 1200fps with a 4 or 5 grain pellet when was the last time you seen a reviewer using them and getting any accuracy. That is like say I can make a Nissan Micra do 400 miles an hour, if I put it in a jet. How is that real world information. They are famous for one thing making grandiose claims
@@jimstewart5008 no hate. Design is ok. They are not so accurate because they are meant for hunting. Metal parts are also beautiful and the finish is also good. Only the price tag for the amount of cheap plastic is not worth for that. Also the safety is too close to the trigger
Nothing wrong with my gamo coyote, a little tune and use the right pellets, I take foxes at 50yards with head shots at 30ft lbs, it's all about marksmanship.
The gamo coyote in 22 cal delivers 30fpe at the muzzle at 50 yards you are getting closer to 20fpe. From what I have read 30fpe is required to kill a fox. I believe with the perfect shot to the head you can make a kill but you are really pushing the limits on a humane kill
I like Gamo. 👍
Gamo = fun and game in the bag😃👍.

I really need to get a Gamo. My Crosman Phantom groups like improved cylinder at 20 yards.
Pathetic.
