We are planning to move to NC from abroad - first stay for ~a month in Charlotte in airbnb, get all the paperwork, and proceed from there. What would be the best part of Charlotte to stay in and get to know the city? Thanks!
There are several great area to choose from. I few to look into are the Lake Norman area, the Ballantyne Area or closer to Uptown Charlotte in areas like Dilworth or NODA might be an option. Most overrated city in the country.....I hope it crashes worse than the last crash. I used to love this place....until everybody and their brother moved here.
