    At 1:27, the reason Anand goes for 7.Rb1 is because he wants to guard the b4 square. If he plays some other move and doesn't protect that square, then Yifan will play bxc4. And after bxc4 recapture, black will play Bb4+ and the dark square bishops will get exchanged. Anand wants to keep more pieces on the board for attacking options.

    average centipawn loss for anand was 10 no inaccuracies, no mistakes and no blunders! thats stockfish level chess

      Aniket Bramhankar I mean those are some inhuman stats but it's not quite stockfish. If you think about it, that means at 10 moves he would be a pawn behind stockfish, at 20 he would be 2 pawns behind, etc

    really proud of Hou Yifan. She could have stayed competing in the women section and she would have ruled it but she decided to play with the masters and and some of the top players of the world. No doubt she will loose a lot of games but she will learn a lot too.

      I still have no clue what the idea behind a women league is
      There is no cognitive difference between females and males right ?
      But still the women get trashed most of the time

    It's like watching a NM play against a GM. She's simply not good enough to take on the likes of Anand.

    • @AkshaySinghJamwal
      @AkshaySinghJamwal 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Or more like GM vs. Super GM? Judit Polgar at her peak may have had a better chance. Anand's been world no. 1 by ranking, and even while that didn't last for as long as his predecessors, he's been in the top ten for the better part of his career.

    Agad there is no need for rook to give check, simply promote pawn to queen. Queen gives check, and black queen blocks, its game over! :)

    • @denestomek9082
      @denestomek9082 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not just no need, if rook give check then promote, white looses the game. 1. Qxf8 Kxf8 2. Rd8 Ke7 3. c8Q Qxd8! There is no checkmate and black up a pawn. There are lot of miss calculation by Agadmator, but i do like the channel and see every video! :) ( maybe draw, b5 pawn will be fall)

    What a cowardly play by hou yifan constantly trying to exchange pieces and hoping for the best despite not winning a single game ! What's she got to lose if she went all out attacking, it's not as if she didn't lose so many games already in the tournament but atleast it would have been a learning experience for her & entertaining for her fans too ! But no, she tries to draw with this passive play 🙄 Honey, it's Vishy Anand with the White pieces. He's gonna eat you alive no matter what you do, so why not try something different than what he's already expecting ?

    Black: Rxc7
    White: Rxc7
    Black: Qxc7
    Its a queen pawn endgame with 2 to 1 pawn advantage on the queen side..... probably winning for black.

    I don't know what is happening to her, I understand that she is frustrated with all the situation with female chess and the incompetence of FIDE but her game is not what it used to be. Of course, this is TATA and it's a super strong tournament. The issue is the blunder.

    • @jaimeduncan6167
      @jaimeduncan6167 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bora: You are a frustrated misogynist. Plus ignorance. I have not done any reference to Gibraltar. It's true that she was in the bad in that occasion. Example, just one, of FIDE incompetency: The Women's World Chess Championship. It's incredible that they were unable to find any other country willing to host the championship.

      as much as i enjoy chess i agree that if you are very smart, you should do something more useful for your family, friends, and people around you. imagine if a genius like carlsen became scientist instead of chess player, he could have invented a new theory, technology, or anything that could potentially change humans life. remember when einstein developed his theory of relativity, other scientists were like "wow this theory is sophisticated, brilliant, and all, but what could we hope from this theory?". who would have guessed? gps is just one application of that theory. i believe top GMs are naturally very intelligent and i thank them for showing good chess games. but to be honest, they kinda "wasted" their brain potential by dedicating all their thoughts on just a game. they could have accomplished more important things for better civilization.

    yifan resigned after queen moves actually Agmadator calculation is totally wrong in this videos if anand captured the rook and yifan captured by her king then if anand gives check by rook yifan can easily escape in this case anand loses his one pwan but i think a after anand move his queen he surely took yifan rook after that black queen have to captured then anand will promote his pawn he didn't give check by his rook if he do he loose his pawn😄😄😄so yifan have to cover checks with her king after that yifan no need to regained the match its all over😂😂😂calculation is wrong but i likes and loves your all videos☺️☺️☺️

      Darren Hughes Antonio doesn’t actually trash players, nor is he biased towards a player. That’s what I love about this channel, the focus is on the chess, not on useless things like nationality or gender.

    There was a check mate chance by yifan at 5.23. Just sacrifse queen at that time by capturing pawn and if anand capture queen simply capture the second rook and its a check mate

      nilesh chaudhary you lose a rook mate, he doesn't capture the queen but both rooks

    • @jonasfandel5137

      nilesh chaudhary queen captures queen youll end up with a rook against queen and 1 pawn up losing position

      Anand would never fall for that. If the black queen captures the pawn on c6, which I assume is what you mean, rook captures on d8 would win a rook for white.
