  • As a lover of Etor, It is a meal I can talk about all day. Etor is a very special meal in Ghanaian cuisine. It is deeply rooted in a lot of Ghanaian culture and activities.
I learned a lot about it during my cooking class session with @torikubu_explores during our visit to @ikesvillage
I always say whoever discovered the food is pure genius because talk about flavors! I am more biased towards plantain Etor because I’ve never had yam Etor but I hear it’s just as delicious.
Festivals, marriage ceremonies, naming ceremonies, puberty rites etc all have this meal as part of its ritual, especially in very traditional settings.
What do you love about Etor?

Hi! Thank you for the recipe. I've noticed plantain in local supermarket but had no idea how to cook it. Your Etor looks so gorgeous ! 🤩Could you please advise what kind of cured fish better to used instead of Momone ? Definitely I won't find Momone in Ukraine. I've noticed plantain in local supermarket but had no idea how to cook it. I'll try to cook the Etor.
