Thanks for the stream 🎉 Have to be Vod gang because of timezones 😢 I’m a Thousand Sons player in the Tabletop actually so i’m quite happy that they are in the game :) The TS are the 15th Legion of the Emperor out of 18(20) The whole legion were psykers on different lvs but because of this they had an affinity to flesh mutation when they overused their powers. Ahriman captain of the first company and head librarian develop a spell to save his brothers forever. That spell was named the Rubricon-Spell. The whole high command casted it and it worked/not worked at the same time. The majority of the Legion got their body burned and their soul sealed into their armor where high lv psykers got a huge boost to their powers. That’s the reason the Standard TS marine is called Rubric because of the spell. Bricky did a good video about every legion it’s a mix of facts and jokes if you are interested in more but don’t want to go too deep
Thanks for another chapter of Warhammer space marine II Scarlett! Not only the fun of slaying angry monsters continues but the plot gets pretty intense, its cool to see get so inmersed the game. Looking forward to next part of this series and seeyou next time. Take care.
3:00:41 And mind you, Chairon just dated himself. As that would make him 10,000 years old, since The Battle of Calth was a major battle of the Horus Heresy. So yeah Chairon was from one of the early batches of Primaris that were put to stasis until now. 3:11:14 Prospero was the home world of the Thousand Sons and Magnus’s adaptive home, and you could already guess what happened to it.
off topic seeing how much you like history did you hear of Reverse1999? The setting is that time start flowing backwards so you play through different time periods. Like one arc plays in Vienna before WW1 starts
Aw dang it, I missed it (I do not comprehend the concept of timezones and dates). Love your enthusiasm for killing things in 40k and getting distracted by architecture! Time for another lore dump then! This time about the astropaths, the leady that just got possessed on the end here. Astro-telepathy (Astropathy) is the main method of faster-than-light communication in the Imperium. Since nothing can move faster than the speed of light, the messages sent by astropaths are sent through the warp. To be able to send telepathic messages across galactic distances, the Astropaths are all soul-bound to the Emperor. They undego rigorous training by the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, learn how to interpret the emperor's tarot (a literal set of cards for predicting the future), and do choroscopy, and other kinds of augury. After they are sufficiently learned, they are sent in groups of a hundred to the Empero's throne room on Holy Terra. There, their souls are bound to that of the Emperor's, giving them a tiny sliver of his power, so that they might be able to better resist the predations of daemons when opening their minds to the warp, and so that they are actually able to send messages across interstellar distances. This process of soul-binding is an agonizing, hours long ritual. Touching the mind of a god like the Emperor is an excruciating process, and it leaves some of the prospecting astropaths dead, many suffer nerve damage and lose some senese like smell or touch, but ALL astropaths go blind after the ritual. The actual process of sending messages is also very esotheric. Astropaths do not send words or texts, they send emotions, mental images, memories, vibes, ideas, etc. that then have to be interpreted by another astropath at the other end. These messages also need to be encrypted and secured, as the warp is the realm of chaos, and the message can be intercepted by daemons, or changed, or just lost. The warp is also utterly unconcerned by such trivial things like "the laws of physics" or "time", so the message can arrive next week, or in two thousand years, or a year before it was sent. Yes, this means that the only way for you to talk to your dad/mom/bf/gf/pet goldfish in another solar system is for a blinded, tortured psyker to send an encrypted, interpretative dance to another tortured, blinded psyker, and the message may arrive tommorrow, or in a hundred years, or last week. This is also the only way for a world to call for help because they are being invaded. As a sidenote, when characters were talking about "the shadow cast by the Tyranids" in this stream, they meant the shadow in the warp cast by the Tyranid hive-mind. It blocks the warp in the area affected by it, meaning that using psyker powers (like astropathy, and interstellar travel) is almost impossible in the area of the shadow. Meaning that it is almost impossible for worlds under strong shadow to call for help.
the dragon was a fragment of a Xenos god The emperor sealed it on Mars where it is til now The emperor is super old that he even witnessed the construction of the Tower of Babel
Thanks for the stream 🎉

There were a lot more battles on Calth then just the one in the Heresy. Also the Primaris were created after HH was finished
