- In this video, we will install free elementor header & footer builder plugin to create custom header and footer in elementor Wordpress website. You do not need Elementor pro plugin to create header and footer in Wordpress website. You can install free plugin and do this easily. In one of the previous videos, I have shown you how to create header and footer in elementor using free plugin. However in this video, we will use another free plugin. The benefit of using this free header footer plugin is that you can use many other different features and elementor widget using this plugin.
So it is not just header footer builder but it has many other elements and features to use in elementor website. Name of the plugin is Elementskit Lite. It is free to use.
If you have Elementor pro plugin on your wordpress website then you do not need these plugins. You can also create header and footer using elementor pro theme builder. I have already published video on that also.

Good evening. I have tried to follow your video but the menu I created is not pulling through. I have also selected the Megamenu option. is that correct?
No need to select Mega menu? if you think Menu element is not working, then you can try installing ElementsKit Lite plugin. This plugin also has Nav Menu element that you can try.
I am clicking on the Header Footer and it takes me to the same Dashboard page. It doesn't show me anything new. I already have a Footer but I built it with containers. I don't think this has anything to do with this, yes?
This is a third party header footer builder plugin. You will need to set the condition to apply these sections on your website. Which theme are you using on your website? Do you have Elementor Pro or you are using basic free elementor. If you have Elementor Pro then you can use Theme builder feature. If it is basic Elementor then you can use the third party plugin.
great vid bro. but is there a way to disable the default footer for free. since i created new footer. i got 2 footers now . help
you can change the visibility of one of the footers.

@@playoffice4310 you can change it as shown in the video. Select the text in the header and go to style settings to change the style.

You will need to change the style settings of the Menu Element. Select Menu Element - Go to Style settings - where you change the Font and Menu item settings, you will find the option for Hover. Select Hover and then change the settings.
Lock header he say get Elementor pro
have you installed the Elementskit lite plugin? it has nothing to do with elementor pro. are you trying to import the template kit? please explain. You can also try another free elementor header and footer plugin as given the description box.
I followed this tutorial and somehow the header is only on my services page and I cant erase it or access it now
Go to Appearance - Header & footer builder - You will see the list of layouts you created. From here, you can edit or delete the layouts. Check the display conditions of the layout.
