He assumes that you already know how to use Elementor (as explained at the beginning of the video) and then describes how this plugin works. This isn't an Elementor video tutorial. 2. He explains that to add the different elements to your header/footer you only need to drag the buttons from the list on the left onto your page (right area). This is the exact same process you use to build a page with Elementor. 3. In this video he shows how to extend Free Elementor capabilities through another plugin, which allows you to use Elementor on your header and footer (paid-elementor features). The plugin has the plus of adding extra buttons/features to Elementor free that work as shortcuts for elements that you would generally use in the header/footer, such as the logo, a shopping cart, and the copyright field. And this plugin is exactly what I need. Thanks for the video 🧡

Instead of a dedicated footer, can you not just add a new section and add a menu with all the contact us and privacy stuff or just style the section however you want and call it your footer? what's the point of a dedicated footer/footer plugin?

What if we want to animate the submenu indicator icon as well? For example, it's usually facing downward, and once you hover over it, the submenu opens. With that, I want to animate the submenu indicator icon facing (^) upward now. I think with this, the audience can have a better UI experience. Hope you understand what I'm asking.

If you are custom building using the elementor canvas or full width with "Elementor Builder" in combination with "Elementor Header & Footer Builder Plugin, you need to CHECK the box next to "Enable Layout for Elementor Canvas Template" shown at 3:47. This will allow it to show on all your pages that are NOT using the theme template you are using.
Not sure why you showed a transparent overlapping header in the beginning, but in the tutorial you built a solid white header that does not overlap. Fail.
