I love monotonously grinding TDX! It is so much fun to spend 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon replaying the same map constantly to get rewards that I'm pressured into doing! It's not as if I have a life, that'd be absurd! When John said he puts the player first he certainly meant it!

The fact the last battlepass max token levels is 17,355 tokens (without the 50k EXP) AND THIS ONE HOWEVER NEEDS 45,800 TOKENS TO FINISH IT (not including the 10k gold, 50k exp, nor 3 nukes). THIS MEANS YOU HAVE TO INCREASE YOUR GRINDING TIME BY 3 TIMES! (If you want the real answer, its 2.64205364869 times.)
You can grind tokens a lot faster in the halloween event(about 3x faster if you arent a sweat), so it's about on par if not a tiny bit easier. Still annoying that it's this grindy.
The Wiki says you need a WHOPPING 97.3k tokens!! Including the 10k gold,50k exp and the 3 nukes.And btw the one without the 10k,5k exp and 3 nukes are at 47.3k tokens
Well at least this time there are way more game modes and the current last game mode, chapter 3 gives a butt load of tokens. Before nightmare only gave you around 350 tokens? Now even normal chapter 3 gives around 800, and even if you fail wave 1 you get 150. The grind is absolutely ridiculous, but there are ways around it.

Ngl John had me hooked for a bit with the event, I was grinding a bit for the towers and even finally playing TDX. I was around lvl 13 on the Battle pass, I thought "Maybe I can do like 4~5 matches a day and get a level, or even try to get 1 lvl a day!" Oh man I was so fucking wrong. I got to lvl 14, 750 Battle pass exp, that's 4 matches of chapter 2 normal solo, wasn't that bad since that's not much and I can actually grind that solo despite being really low lvl (lvl 20). Then I saw the jump from lvl 14 (750) to lvl 15 (1750). A whole 1k xp suddenly added, I just saw what was happening and I've never noped the ever fuck out faster than I ever did from this game. Now you showing this, John better make those chapters either give way more exp so you won't die of brain damage doing the same fucking things. The best wish for it is that it won't require a doc or teammates at all to do, at the very least normal, but who am I kidding?, I fucking hate games which rely on docs for strats and I totally see the later nights needing one.

You would need to do 50 Nightmare Night 2 games in order to get Relic if you started with 0 Tokens on Level 22, for me, each Nightmare Night 2 takes 16-17 minutes, we'll round off to 17 minutes, so it would take 850 minutes, or 14 hours straight, to get Relic...
Night 1 serves as tokens for like the first few rewards as it’s token rewards are really Low Night 2 tokens are for the skins before you get flame trooper Night 3 should be to get flame trooper and all the skins before relic And night 4 tokens should be enough to get Relic in a few games and the rest of the rewards
having to grind two games at once is worse since im grinding tdx and tds and since i brought the premium bp and feel more pressure to finish it before the end of hallows
The only thing i find better in tds battlepass is that you can play any map and still get a lot of those "points" while in tdx you gotta grind the same map all the time which i find really annoying
I can't believe how people can easily say that you just need to grind the same map over and over again and mock you for not grinding but the thing is they never think about your psychological mind. Like I got stressed grinding the TB event and after this came out it was the last drop for me so I quit TDX. Well atleast not grinding. Would rarely play it still. Also the towers in this event aren't unique at all they are just some better models of Tower Battles Graveyard and Flamethrower. It's just not worth it.

@crazy-op9dd barracks are basically needed in chapter 2 as john (the advisor for chapter 2) says to use barracks and snipers, and armored factory is needed to make expert mode on any map that is not an impossible map a total joke
