Notes: 1: Commando is getting reworked soon, along with Pursuit. 2: Most old event towers are pretty bad due to balancing, such as old enemies having lower HP, so these towers were pretty insane back then. 3: Most event towers rely on conditions, such as multiple enemies lined up or having enough money to level them up to their best level, so they shine in specific times. 4: Most event towers are early game towers, and this guy didn't really consider that, so this tier list is kinda off. 5: Hallow Punk and Harvester are designed around being stall, so their usefulness is actually really good when spammed, which isn't considered, so they actually deserve a higher spot 😂

Literally yes. Low dps is a bad tower unless it’s exclusively support.. Low dps means DAMAGE PER SECOND so if something did 2 damage every 0.5 seconds it has 4 dps

Frost blaster is honestly one of the best towers to use in hc. With base lead, early hidden paired with its insta-freeze, it can easily eliminate the early hiddens, early leads, it makes lead bosses a joke, and literally solos wave 25 with its pierce. I 100% agree with the number 1 spot; frost blaster is such a strong tower.
Cryomancer is cooking aswell., when u spam it the enemies are frozen most of the times, cuz of the firerate of 0.2 seconds. But beside that both cryo and frost blaster are great towers

Also cryo can damage leads at lvl 2 making it a great option for leads. However I value frost higher due to its bigger range and cheap hidden detection. But I would use cryo over frost blaster in a fallen match, because of cryo’s low firerate and cheap cost.
Both of them have their own downsides. So i cant say who is better. Cryo is extremely cheap to place (300$) so u can get 2 of them on first wave nobody knows why… frost blaster deals damage at lvl 0, when cryo isnt. And ig frost blaster is more map reliable than cryo (the piercing while cryo just can be set on random/farthest). I advice getting 2 lvl 3 cryos instead of a max one. Chillness resets after enemies freeze, so after they unfreeze they have 0 chill, meaning that they are faster than when u have 2/1 lvl 3 cryo. Still, both if them are greater in their own ways
@АндрейМамеко here is the thing. They are basically the same. But cryo really isn't good in squads and solo. It isn't good in squad because it is required in large wuan to be effective which you can't have. It isn't good in solo because frost blaster not only does act as an early game tower, but its dps makes it a sub dps tower, which is really important in solo because you need the most amount of dps possible. Cryomancer is really good in 2 of the special gamemodes and most events.

imo the list is pretty off... as someone that have every event tower. Most of them aren't for dps, but support/early game usage. DPS isn't the main thing in TDS anymore for a while

Problems with this vid ( in my opinion): commando should have been higher because of it’s splash damage, gladiator should be higher because a lot of gladiators can do a lot of damage,sledger should have been a lot higher because it is very good at stunning and freezing enemies, even if short-time,hollow punk should be lower because of it only having 3 levels and the low amount of dps it deals alone and with many placed down and the knockback is horrible,harvester should be higher because of their thorn ability (not veins) having amazing crowd control,slasher should just be a bit lower because baecause it’s low range is semi-compensated for it’s blood debuff making it a decent melee tower,cryomacer should be higher because of it’s constant semi-automatic frezzing attack,frost blaster should be lower because it does the same thing as freezer, but just a bit better and without the ability to throw a freeze grenade. Hope this advice gets taken seriously! Edit:commando,slasher,and sledger should be higher due to their reworks, I take back what I said about slasher
the reason necromancer wasn't included and also was Xed out at the start was because if it wasn't obvious, even though its in the exclusives category its still on sale and has been on sale for a year now so its not really considered a event tower any more as its still obtainable. hopefully it gets its glory and gets buffed, as well as truly becoming an event tower by putting its sale of 1,800 gems to rest.

I'd say the elf camp deserves to be in higher. It is extremely cheap, and it can stack up very easily making a very high dps output. It have crowd control, and a 800 health unit to stop leaks. It deserves to be higher in my opinion.
i think thats because of the fact gladiator is a melee tower while hallow punk has splash damage and has a much longer range. As well as having burn damage
in my opinion, gladiator should be like 2nd or 3rd place, it's better than like slasher and sledger. It's also really good at crowd control and early game is just fantastic with this tower!

its crazy how people cant form an opinion anymore 😭 imo i would've put cyro much lower, and i will die on this hill, the freeze "effect" or chill effect is not extremely helpful when it comes to later games when bosses and many zombies have the anti freeze trait, for frostblaster atleast it has its use in solo hc grinding as good eg, im afraid i cant say the same for cyromancer toxic gunner, harvester, jester, these are towers that focuses more on their niches than dps (as you can tell) harvester being a good crowd control tower paired with farms and toxic gunner being there only as a slowness bypass (bc most zombies dont have immunity to poison slow down) and jester being one as well with a helpful defense melting poison bomb and confusion bomb slasher, glad, sledger, swarmer, commando, hallowpunk, exe, elf camp, these towers as much as you can argue, are mostly useless as their niches are either outclassed or meaningless exe, sledger, hallowpunk are niche towers with their own perks such as slow down, kn back, and flying detect but realistically are outclassed by their evergreen counterparts with higher late game potential, (had hallowpunk had hd detect she wouldve been a good eg tower) while slasher, glad, swarmer, elf camp, archer are realistically used as eg-mid game and late game side dps, however there are simply better options I understand that this is a comparison in a vacuum, aka only comparing event towers to event towers, but i feel like looking at it as a whole [picture] most event towers are not as good as many would say, even if the event towers ive mentioned were ranked higher than their other event counterparts, the evergreen and hardcore towers practically solo them with little difficulty the only ones giving trouble being the ones whos gimmicks are not extra dps
@@MordexJV cyro, fb, literally any ice tower can "chill" bosses, however if you require this minuscule benefit to beat the Void Reaver then I think this is more of a loadout issue than a tower carry again, i believe that the lack of dps, hd and flying detect that cryo suffers from makes it a meaningless support tower as well as having a gimmick that has been done to death theres just no real reason to even run ice towers in hc, you should be running gpyro to deal with defense

Toxic gunner on random is really good because it can just spam the poison on every single enemy. Not the greatest, obviously but i think it should be higher.

Harvester needs a buff. I’m not talking like a small dmg buff no. I mean a mega buff due to how hard it is to get normally. Low dps for a tower that deals less or even dps to hunter is criminal
I have all 14 of them. In the past, [before the nuking of] Gladiator was the ONLY way to heal damage- Medic didn't exist. On a map I think was named "end of the line", I saved the team by placing max level Gladiators at the exit to heal the base killing any enemies that leaked from the minigunner spam at the entrance (back in Ye Olde Times of 2019, there were TWO maps you could get Cowboy on)
Why did you do my guy Toxic Gunner dirty like that? Place 3 of them on random and then it becomes a really nice support. Not the best but it totally works and is fun to use
In my opinion, almost all event towers face a certain issue. The main issue (from my experience) is that most people do not use them as much as they are outclassed by another tower, nerfed or went years with out a balacing change or rework. I am not saying that one event tower is better than the other or that they are bad. I am saying that it has become harder for people to use event towers in modern tds. As we have seen with the fallen mode rework.
Harvester is a support tower that can occasionally deal with hidden enemies, It is not a DPS tower but it can do a lot more than this ran king gives it credit for
Ice bomb and confusion bomb together suck. Ice bomb slows down enemies, thus not allowing enemies to backtrack as far with the confusion. You are actively nullifying the effects of the confusion bomb.
As someone that has been playing TDS from 2019 to 2025 i do agree with some rankings but as well as disagree with some rankings as well but its all about personal opinion
I Hope that if they are to rework commando and make him usable they dont sell him to the public. I feel like they should just bring back the event and super buff it so that everybody who inst rich or wants to spend robux can actually get the tower.
The fallen mode rework and the max hit reduction rly cucked the gladiator hard, tho it’s still good in molten speedrun As for sledger, devs did it really dirty. The freezing mechanic reworked killed it, and its rework basically put the last nail to its coffin
My only change to this list, #1 = Elf camp, #2 = exi, #3 = cryo. All three of those tower are versatile in literally everything with very good uses. Elf camps dps is actually better than most people think since you can spawn unlimited troops from the elf camp which makes it a very good support for your other dps towers. Frost blaster is very limited just like the archer since it relies on the maps, I would rather use cryo since its better in every way support wise and because they both have mid dps its a no brainer. Jester is also extremely overrated. (Also exi does more than 40 dps, on paper that's how much he does how ever he can hit enemies multiple times adding on crazy dps.) Other than that those few things it was a very good list!

I dont understand why so many people sleep on sledger like do people even have the tower, he is the best melee tower in the game doing high cheap splash at early levels and slowing, doing the most damage out of any melee tower and having one of the best slows. His range is also acceptable as his slow keeps enemies in it for longer, there is also a glitch at the moment where his slow and harvesters gets enemies to 0% movement speed (infinite stun) but even without the glitch hes op, also slasher still sucks
he's not good any more he needs 2 hits to freeze enemies wich most likely won't happen becuase of his small range when you use him your not really using him for dps he also slows down enemies alot less and he misses alot becuase of this slow ahh hits and he can't hit more than 3 enemies

I'd say the elf camp deserves to be in higher. It is extremely cheap, and it can stack up very easily making a very high dps output. It have crowd control, and a 800 health unit to stop leaks. It deserves to be higher in my opinion.

in my opinion, gladiator should be like 2nd or 3rd place, it's better than like slasher and sledger. It's also really good at crowd control and early game is just fantastic with this tower!

imo i would've put cyro much lower, and i will die on this hill, the freeze "effect" or chill effect is not extremely helpful when it comes to later games when bosses and many zombies have the anti freeze trait, for frostblaster atleast it has its use in solo hc grinding as good eg, im afraid i cant say the same for cyromancer
toxic gunner, harvester, jester, these are towers that focuses more on their niches than dps (as you can tell) harvester being a good crowd control tower paired with farms and toxic gunner being there only as a slowness bypass (bc most zombies dont have immunity to poison slow down) and jester being one as well with a helpful defense melting poison bomb and confusion bomb
slasher, glad, sledger, swarmer, commando, hallowpunk, exe, elf camp, these towers as much as you can argue, are mostly useless as their niches are either outclassed or meaningless
exe, sledger, hallowpunk are niche towers with their own perks such as slow down, kn back, and flying detect but realistically are outclassed by their evergreen counterparts with higher late game potential, (had hallowpunk had hd detect she wouldve been a good eg tower)
while slasher, glad, swarmer, elf camp, archer are realistically used as eg-mid game and late game side dps, however there are simply better options
I understand that this is a comparison in a vacuum, aka only comparing event towers to event towers, but i feel like looking at it as a whole [picture] most event towers are not as good as many would say, even if the event towers ive mentioned were ranked higher than their other event counterparts, the evergreen and hardcore towers practically solo them with little difficulty

theres just no real reason to even run ice towers in hc, you should be running gpyro to deal with defense

Necromancer might be an exclusive tower, but it was on sale for a full year, this makes it not an event tower. It could have been a bug, but that hasn’t been fixed as of right now.

I have all 14 of them. In the past, [before the nuking of] Gladiator was the ONLY way to heal damage- Medic didn't exist.
On a map I think was named "end of the line", I saved the team by placing max level Gladiators at the exit to heal the base killing any enemies that leaked from the minigunner spam at the entrance (back in Ye Olde Times of 2019, there were TWO maps you could get Cowboy on)

In my opinion, almost all event towers face a certain issue. The main issue (from my experience) is that most people do not use them as much as they are outclassed by another tower, nerfed or went years with out a balacing change or rework. I am not saying that one event tower is better than the other or that they are bad. I am saying that it has become harder for people to use event towers in modern tds. As we have seen with the fallen mode rework.

As someone that has been playing TDS from 2019 to 2025 i do agree with some rankings but as well as disagree with some rankings as well but its all about personal opinion
I'm so sad because I started playing during the 2020 easter event but I wasn't very good so I never got swarmer, only a skin

As for sledger, devs did it really dirty. The freezing mechanic reworked killed it, and its rework basically put the last nail to its coffin
My only change to this list, #1 = Elf camp, #2 = exi, #3 = cryo. All three of those tower are versatile in literally everything with very good uses. Elf camps dps is actually better than most people think since you can spawn unlimited troops from the elf camp which makes it a very good support for your other dps towers. Frost blaster is very limited just like the archer since it relies on the maps, I would rather use cryo since its better in every way support wise and because they both have mid dps its a no brainer. Jester is also extremely overrated. (Also exi does more than 40 dps, on paper that's how much he does how ever he can hit enemies multiple times adding on crazy dps.) Other than that those few things it was a very good list!

I dont understand why so many people sleep on sledger like do people even have the tower, he is the best melee tower in the game doing high cheap splash at early levels and slowing, doing the most damage out of any melee tower and having one of the best slows. His range is also acceptable as his slow keeps enemies in it for longer, there is also a glitch at the moment where his slow and harvesters gets enemies to 0% movement speed (infinite stun) but even without the glitch hes op, also slasher still sucks
he's not good any more he needs 2 hits to freeze enemies wich most likely won't happen becuase of his small range when you use him your not really using him for dps he also slows down enemies alot less and he misses alot becuase of this slow ahh hits and he can't hit more than 3 enemies
