Just fitted the tub rack and tent. Be the worst job I’ve ever had to do. Wasn’t happy with the 4 bolts that hold the rails on. Just not enough meat on them. Deleted the rails and used larger bolts direct through to the rack. Used 4 of the six tub rails on top so the whole tent sits flat on it. I also introduced some thin ply to the tent over hang to eliminate the crunch effect when entering it. Yet to try it all out.
I know what you mean about the bolts mate, I modified the rack so the allen bolt heads lined up in the rails keeping it a bit more sturdy but haven't had any issues with the bolts into the floor of the tent

I’m also doing a trip from syd upto Mort island early next year and this seems like the best roof top tent setup for a wildtrak with the roller shutters Can I ask which tub rack from ozroo yours is? Half height, full height, 3/4 cab length etc? And very keen for an update on the tent once you get back from ur trip :)

G'day, we have the same tub rack & tent, but the the rack cross bars can't seem to line up for the width of the tent's bars. They are adjustable but we can't seem to get the 800mm width without it being way off centre. Any advice?
G'day Annette, I had the same problem with mine but moved the top bars where they needed to be 800mm apart and drilled new holes. Apply some etch primer undercoat with a cotton bud to prevent rust and you're good to go 👍

Where did you get the rack that attaches to the mountain top roller shutters??
Personally the hard shells are the go but these are still bloody good

May I ask what's the hight with your setting?. Can you park in the covered shopping mall car park? 2.1 ~ 2.4m

Turn the crossbars on the bottom of the tent, so they run from left to right. Then your problem is solved
What mount is that for the maxtrax?
Did you have to drill the bed in order to install the rack?
