Hey mate, I run a 55L DOMETIC fridge in the back seat of the car. The fridge does not clear the roller shutter in the tub by about 5mm, so for most fridges it had to be in the back seat. Also the tub of the Ranger lets in dust, so the backseat is a safer option. The fridge has been upgraded since the video below, but the concept is still the same. th-cam.com/video/1r1un5ZLgWU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ullpd5_jA6uyyGUE

Thanks for you video, I’m wondering if you have the darche 180 awning and how it goes with the overhang. Spoke to darche and they told me no more than 500 overhang and the ranger works out to 615 either side. Want to get one but unsure if the awning sits well. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hey mate, on my car the rear of the awning is in line with the bottom of the tub rack spoiler thing and the front overhangs the top of the windscreen by 30cms. For reference, I can’t see it from the driver seat unless I lean forward. Hope that helps.
@@WonderingGreek it’s pretty good in the rain, had mine for about 5 years and it’s still remaining strong and the canvas is in great quality. Under rain and wind you need to tie it down but overall it’s very robust!
@@rangertouring thanks so much for the feedback back, ordered one today and was a bit iffy. Much enjoy your vids and if ever in Melbourne and want company around a camp fire sing out ! Take care!
cool setup man!

Thanks mate, great video. Do you use a fridge? If so where do you store it and what type of fridge do you have for camping? Cheers

@@rangertouring thanks, was more concerned about how it performs when open. Does it sag at the fronts or adversely affected by wind?
