If I ever, EVER, get Hogan on WSI, would it be funnier to call him out on every lie he tells or would it be better to have a bullshit-o-meter in the corner and see how many he racks up in an hour?

@@jamesgaboda8362I’d argue to say that over the last half century, very few people have had a more amazing and interesting life than Hulk Hogan. People who have never even watched pro wrestling still know who Hulk Hogan is. He transcended his professional wrestling career to become a worldwide pop culture icon in the 80s and 90s. So why does he need to make up all these convoluted stories that can easily be proven false with minimal research? A legitimate autobiography on Hulk Hogan’s life could be a New York Times best seller, but because of all of Hogan’s lies throughout the years, anyone who reads it would take it with a massive pinch of salt because 90% of the book would be more of his bullshit stories.

100 percent. What I've been saying for the past fifteen years.
And I'm sure lots of wrestlers embellish their stories, especially the older ones. Just in their blood at this point. But Hulk's are SO over the top, SO ridiculous, you don't even have to fact check them to know they're bs: the date-line thing, the Wembley thing, the albums being a decade apart. Really the only thing I've had to fact check is that Jimmy Hart had "several number 1 songs", because...I think he had maybe one of them? I know he had legit hit songs though. But I also know Hulk did not. 🤣

The fact that he actually bothered to write a song suggests that there is a kernel of truth right there. Especially when you consider that he wrestled at Wembley Stadium the year Jimmy Hart claims he and Hogan actually started to work on the album.
Probably he met an English Make-a-wish kid in a completely separate time, and then he got the inspiration when he went to England to wrestle on a WCW house show. Maybe the kid's wish was to be on a front row seat for a Hogan match, but couldn't make it in time. Or maybe he just met so many Make-a-wish kids that he just made up this story for the album.

That is distasteful, some of the other BS stories are just stupid trolling. The story about the kid, ugh.

He was right about COVID and not being politically correct about race so hes the only lier in pro wrestling now. Besides all the other pro wrestlers that are probably still lying currently. And gossiping behind each other's back.
