Wow. I miss middle school when the only thing on my plate was school. And I could stay up and play minecraft with my friends as late as I wanted. Planning how we were gonna kill the ender dragon, tryna build Redstone contraptions and laughing when they didint work, strip mining while talking about whatever little trivial middle school stuff was on our minds, i thought I would be friends with them forever. I talk to none of those people anymore, they all moved away or we lost contact somewhere through the years. I was so happy then. What happened.
Somehow I know what had happened, the adolescent passed by making way of the mature life which is why we yearn these years so much by comparing laugher, fun as you described to the mature life where there are problems, diseases and difficulties it is not hard to see why we grieve about it. From my own experience I can tell that friendships from minecraft were and are the strongest ones,I could make a friend of out nothing by just asking someone to help me out with something,I doubt that there are games that may compete.I call it in my own words the 'pleasure of seep blood' we miss these memories and we want them back simultaneously being grateful that we have them but feeling sadness that we cannot touch them nor bring them back.

You and others grew up, that's what happened. It's not a bad thing. I'm a sophomore in college now and haven't played Minecraft in literal years. I want to, but I'm so busy with college and two jobs--it's near impossible. On off days I'm doing housework like cleaning my room, car, ect. It sucks but you can regress a bit and go back to those times.. you just have to make time which I'm horrible at.

What an absolute masterpiece of a game. Personally, I have never felt this emotional and nostalgic about a game ever. So many memories, so many minigames, so many unfinished build projects, so many online strangers that suddenly vanished, so many diamond celebrations, so many relationships built, oh my. Time really flies by so fast, you don't even realize the memories you are making. You never really know when you are gonna place that last block, you never know when your friends would come back, you really never know when, and when I say when, when you ever will forget the childhood this game gave to us all. I say thank you, Minecraft. You truly never failed to give me a childhood I will hold deeply close to my heart. Thanks to anyone who read it all. Ironically I didnt pay anything at all. My brother bought it during the beta for 5 bucks when they had these "buy one account get one for free" weekends. We literally both got our hands on the best game of the coming decade, the game that would shape our childhood possibly more than anything else, for five mere bucks.

More like $50 because i both loved Minecraft and terraria on the Xbox 360 it brings be back to the good days. However i find that i still play terraria a lot more than Minecraft these days because i run out of ideas to build things in Minecraft while terraria is more about fighting and the loot from bosses. Minecraft still was my childhood though and i will never forget that first tutorial world i built stuff on.

I remember my dad used to be a heavy call of duty player but when I got Minecraft I got him to play with me and he ended up loving the game so much he made these massive worlds in creative and we did hardcore survival worlds together until he died from brain cancer

These songs become more impactful to me the older I get. I found this mix nearly four years ago, when I was still in high school, and since then I've become increasingly attached to it. Now I'm 19 and depressed, with no friends, no social skills, enrolled in college because of societal expectation and hating it, and this music brings tears to my eyes. It's like resting on top of a hill, looking down over the valley I played in as a kid, knowing it'll never be the same, but just remembering what it felt like, what it sounded like.

Even though I played with the music off, this still brings the memory's of wandering around with my Xbox 360 controller in my hand. Minecraft may not be the same, but the past will always be the same, and lucky for us, we can always remember those memory's without worrying about losing them

Sitting here on my own bed while listening to Subwoofer Lullaby and reading the MC handbooks. This one in particular is a favorite. It reminds me of a distinct memory. Particularly involving elementary school. Me and my buddies used to play MC all the time, and I always, and I mean always played it. Although it was always alone. Hearing this song gave me comfort and even though I may have been scared of being lost in a world to never find my home again, I would persevere. In particular my mom, bless her soul, had bought hard cover first editions of the brand new Minecraft Handbooks from 2014 when I was 7. I never have gotten to played on Java edition, but my heart lit up when my mom bought me them. I still have them and currently 8 years later still read them from time to time. To think I’d be having so much more to stress over, and not having a mother to share more memories with is just to show how much time has passed since. One thing stands out though. She had at one point, not knowing a single thing about this game, decided to play with me in a world I made on her own tablet. And still I recollect that sweet bonding time me and her had.. even if it is just a simple little block game. The memories I hold and the memories I am creating now will forever be a sweet place in my mind to look back on years from now.

Well I've been to the netherlands
I was 13 when I first started playing Minecraft, and I have always loved discovering new things about Minecraft every day. It was during March-April 2020 when all the schools closed so we always had assignments and were basically home the whole time, so it was a wonderful opportunity to start a game like Minecraft. My first creative mode project was me trying to build a replica of our blue apartment. My at that time 6yo sister also always watched me build the building and she simply loved it when I played Minecraft. After weeks I still was not halfway through, I at least completed the part of the apartment where we live, and a few other flats which I built with improvisation, but well... being still a rookie and newbie in Minecraft, I hadn't yet discovered the cruel act of Minecraft when you accidentally entered the world on a different version. Along with many other worlds, this one also disappeared, just because they were so old and I simply after a while lost track of all the Minecraft worlds that even existed. Put simply together, I changed my PC twice and I had Minecraft on two Laptops in the past. The "Blue House", so we called it, will always remain in the hearts of me and my sister, and listening to the tracks "Biome Fest" and "Blind Spots" always remind me sooo much of it, because it always played in the background while building our beloved blue apartment, our first Minecraft creative mode project. All these Minecraft tracks are absolute masterpieces and bring back so many memories. I'm 16 now and my sister turned 9 recently, and I just can't believe that it's been nearly three years already. The way how time flies is just insane. Ultimately I find it kinda sad that after playing Minecraft a certain amount of time, it just doesn't feel as exciting anymore, because you just know almost everything about the game already. Back then Minecraft just hit so much more different. I think I must really quit Minecraft for a long time and then start playing again after years, just to get that feeling again. Minecraft is such a legendary game, never underrate it!

Minecraft's music is one of the most underrated parts of the whole game. When you're all alone, building, or mining, and a soothing tune comes on, you feel like you're in that wonderful world, and it makes the game extremely hard to let go of mentally.
I've always got the music volume higher than the game sounds. One of my favourite soundtracks gotta be "dragon Fish"
I always get depressed and think back to when i played bedrock version on the 360 and was the biggest dirt hut noob ever. I actually turn the music off and play something cheerful. I love the music tho its just to said sounding when i try to have fun

While I do feel old reading all these people who grew up with Minecraft (it came out while I was in college), I realize that...this game really has touched a _lot_ of lives. Not a mindless shooter. A creative survival game akin to Lego on your computer. Really amazing when you think about it.

I genuinely don't think I will ever get bored of this game or it's soundtrack. I played it for the first time on my friend's iPad in December 2011, under a blanket fort we made in my living room. It was supposed to snow that night, so her family came over so the two of us and her brother could wake up and play in the snow together. We were six. I'm seventeen now. Thinking about the fact that it's been 11 years is insane to me.

Each time i'm bored and I listen to some chill minecraft playlist , it's like the time slows down and 1 minute is equivalent to 10... i didn't idealize how much the music had changed since i was a kid, this immediately brought me back to my childhood, watching my friends play, accidentally staying up all night playing at a sleepover and then watching the sun come up in the game and irl at the same time, falling asleep after playing and waking up to music, putting hours and hours into worlds with my friend, terraforming and building till there was nothing else to do and then just standing back and looking at what we had accomplished, so much nostalgia in just a few notes, wow.
All them late nights mining when my friends had fallen asleep on the world, all them trips past the same landmarks and all the boats that would glitch out and vanish, only to be fixed and still left behind on all them journeys. to a new player, they are just abandoned crafting tables and boats but to me, they was the beginning to what has been a 1000+ hour realm with memories that ill never forget

This reminds me of my son at a very young age who used to play and be so happy. He would get up and leave the game running and this music would be playing in the house. It is good to realize the joy of a noisy house with a child who is having fun. It is not until they are gone that we do miss it. Go grab your children and hug them. They grow up fast and these moments of innocent joy and happiness swiftly pass.

It's 2014 and you just watched an old Minecraft TH-camr and you get on your X-Box 360 and play Minecraft. You see the frost on the window because it's mid-January and you grab your favorite blanket and your mom brings you a heated up Pop Tart. You open your world with your Pure Diamond Castle because back then, you though that looked cool. You hear the faint sound of the button click, the smell of the heater, the sound of the X-Box fan, and your own breathing, that's all you hear in this moment. It feels like forever but after only 3 seconds you see the world boot up and you start finishing your castle and you start a farm.
About to graduate highschool, listening to this shit makes me tear up just reflecting on my childhood that I'll never relive. It's crazy how when your a kid sometimes you wish you were an adult but when you finally grow up you realize how special and great childhood is.

I can remember in 2016 watching my brother play Minecraft Java on an SMP. Getting into late 2016 I got Minecraft, I remember in 2nd grade playing with my old friends hearing 'Mice On Venus' And 'Wet Hands' it just makes me cry to think about it how I haven't seen my old friends in 4 years and how I miss them so much. Minecraft runs my whole entire childhood. I am soon gonna not have time to play Minecraft, but thank you for the best 6 year childhood I had 😣 I will never forgot the memories I had.

imagine you have a family with a good wife, a good house, and a good kid
but you feel... something missing
one day your kid runs up to you while youre on the couch
he has an old box in his hand, very dusty and deformed
he asks "daddy, whats this?"
"i dont know, where did you find it" you reply while clearing the dust
he says "i found it in the attic"
you finally manage to clean the dust from the box
it reads "xbox 360" on the top
you smile
"oh its my old xbox! havent seen it in a while"
he asks "is this how consoles looked like when you were a child? its so big and heavy!"
"yes... it was very revolutionary back when it released" you say as you open the box
inside the box you find 2 controllers and a dusty, smaller box, it appears to be green
you tell your son to get a towel, everything was so dusty and dirty you start to cough
he comes back with said towel, and together, you clean the box and its insides
after its clean, you can finally make out what is written in that box
"MINECRAFT - XBOX 360 EDITION" you read out loud as your throat beggins to ache
you freeze for a moment, the memories start flooding back
your kid asks "daddy, is that a game?"
you reply "yes, my favourite game, i have so many good memories with it"
he replies with "can we play?"
you happly say yes and begin to assemble the console
after its plugged, you insert the disc and hear the cd drive reading while the iconic xbox logo appears on the screen
then a familiar song starts to play, the screen goes white and reads "MOJANG" in red
the tittle screen appears, as you and your son press play on the old controllers, the world menu starts loading
and then you see it
all your old worlds, from when you were only 7, theyre all there
you start to tear up
he notices
"daddy, whats wrong?"
you reply with "nothing, its just... that i... have a very strong emotional connection with this... game..."
you decide to revisit your old world
as soon as you load in, youre blinded with the sight of the sun, an old wood house can be seen in the horizon
you begin to walk over there as your son watches
when you finally get there, you see the doors open, cows wolfs and bats have populated the area in your absence
you get in the house and feel a very strong feeling of nostalgia
the furnaces are still melting iron
you and your old friend's room is still intact
you begin to cry
tears roll down your cheek
not tears of sadness, but tears of joy, happiness, after all these years, it was still there
it was all... still there...
