This is one of the closest covers of RUSH I've heard. The lead singer is right on the money. I can actually understand the friggin lyrics, which weren't so easy with Geddy.
Yes, first time I realised he sings "arrogance" :D Also, respect to Rush, they did it with just three people.

This is great! Seeing the footage reminds me that Rush performed all of their complex music live without any additional backing musicians or pre-recorded tracks. Geddy singing, playing bass and playing keyboards with his feet all at the same time just blows my mind.

Stumbled across this looking for a 'doable' version for the covers band I'm in. But this... this is just too good. I think if I played the studio album version in my left ear and this version in the right my brain wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Holy crap. Well done!

I am an old roadie from the 70’s with Donald K. Donald productions. I’m not a huge fan of cover bands as back in the day as a roadie, you were always up close and personal with the bands such as April Wine, Stampeders, Chilliwack and the list goes on, but I have to give credit where credit is due and this is probably one of the top 10 cover bands out there. It’s hard to mirror Neil Peart, as the professor had a drum kit that would intimidate any drummer as I am a novice drummer and did a lot of tuning on the kits. For what you have, you did great. You’re a bass player killed it, note for note and if I were to listen to the bass track alone, I would think it was Getty Lee. Great job guys. You now have a new fan.

This is really fabulous! Of course all the instrumental parts are very hard to play (even Peart said it was hard to play for him!), but the singing on this is super impressive too -- great energy and a very tough song to sing well! Bravo!
