I must that the future of women sprinting in Jamaica looks veeerrrryyyy bright,so much competing for those spots but sadly few of our favourite will not make it,what a pity. The good thing though is that we will always have enough competition among each other to thrive for greatest which means our ladies will always be competitive because there is no time to get complacent. @@JETOFF I didn't know it was a tailwind and I was actually impressed with the time as it has to be in the top 3 performances of this track season exceeding or tieing seasons veteran Asher-Smith. If it was mentioned in this video about the wind then I wouldn't have been surprised at the great time.
I agree, but I don't think her sister is not as strong. as her, I believe she needs to work harder on her top end speed. Tia gets beaten at the line over 60, but her end to me is not that strong. Obviously one sister will be the dominant one, which is Tina, similar to Serena and Venus Williams.
If everythang goes well with the twins & the other speedy girls, Jamaica 🇯🇲 should be getting ready for at least a 5 to 10 year run with another fine stable of pure speed with almost perfect form, should be a great ride for everyone concerned in Jamaica. Amen 🙏!!! .
Looking back on those races I find it quite funny how there isn't any footage of the flash time of the races . The one clear footage was the race that Sashalee Forbes won ,the clock shows a time of 7.44 and was adjusted down to 7.18 , there's nothing fishy about that huh.
Time will tell as competition will be fierce. Even as SAFP is remarkable and consistent at the 100m, Elaine Thompson (when she is 100 percent) is her arch rival nonetheless, and currently holds the Jamaican record at 10.54. While Tina Clayton is gaining in popularity and favoritism, consistency in top performance is what counts.
