Too many Jamaicans are ungrateful. When the athletes win, they'll cheer and once they lose, they bury them. I have so much respect for these athletes going into 'other cultures' to represent Jamaica. THANKS VERY MUCH ELAINE. You are a great athlete.

I totally agree that because someone is on the “ same “ team doesn’t necessarily mean that they have to be “ Best “ friends and they Respect each other and their abilities and they compliment each other. Furthermore she is a very “ Humble” young woman, and all thanks to a praying Grandmother who taught her how to be Humble. So you people in Social Media need to leave her ALONE . She is doing her Best and I don’t see where it is written that she has to “win” every time she walks on the track, she is also HUMAN, she knows what it is to Win, and she accepts defeat humbly and graciously, and I am so happy that she doesn’t pay any attention to the negative critical people out there who couldn’t Do what she did. KUDOS to you, Elaine, keep the faith and keep trusting GOD. Love you and all the other ladies. CHAMPIONS all. Blessings galore. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🙏🏻👏🏼👏🏼🇯🇲

She is an example. Between Rio and the last Olympics injury had left her a big blow. She has been dominating Shelly since Rio and that might have caused resistance. Just look back at the video from the last Olympics. God had given her two legs like anyone of them, so if she is better it is not her fault. I do not support the notion that only when i win i can be happy but when you beat me my face must be hard as a rock. I just love Elaine and her approach. I may have commented on this before but nevertheless, I am compelled to say something. Elaine is a reflection of pure class and character. While she had some setbacks this 2022 season she has remained competitive throughout and while she has also been out performed by her fellow Jamaican rivals, this doesn't mean she is no longer a force to reckon with.
She will rise again and you need not question if she isn't motivated to do so. I am personally disappointed that she was not at her best this time around. I think she is one of the main reason that Jamaica stands a greater chance at of getting the world record over the 100m and 200m.
We also have Shellyanne and Shericka whom are performing at a very high level...this can only bring out the best in all of them... we know who has already ran 10.54 and 21.45 and we also know who is the one that two of them has to catch. Nuff love and respect for Elaine Thompson-Herah. Best wishes to you queen.

P L, Great thoughts you have brought to your audience attention. However if my memory is correct Elaine Thompson won Silver in the 2015 world championships over 200m behind Daphne Skippers. So she has indeed been on the podium before.
As Stephen Francis said, “it is not how fast you ran before but how you execute in the event on the day. I noticed that something was off with Elaine on the day. She summoned all the experience, skill and tenacity to earn herself and Jamaican two medals. Thank Elaine. We applaud your efforts and achievements at this recently concluded 2022 World Championships in Oregon 🇺🇸

They’re to leave the athletes alone because None of who are talking about them can do what they’re doing right now people are humans and humans do make mistakes when you’re injured who can fixed that painful feelings they ever feel those cramps in the ankles or the legs you can’t please people everything happened for a reason God timing is the best let not your heart be troubled praise God and live Never rush God work congratulations to y’all blessings Amen 🙏🏽

Elaine is a boss lady in the world's sight. She isn't on steroids and the naysayers must know how muscles operate. Pounding every day in training and in competition cause damage and competitions are dated very close to each other. Long time they weren't so close. Instead of black people banging black people when the rest of the world hates us, it's time to scrape the scum from the black brain and let peace and love reign/rain in the black community. One love. Don't let anybody divide you. I think black conflict is demonic so cast them out. Everybody can't win all the time as muscles wear and tear and there's hardly any time for rejuvenation only if one skips meetings. All Jamaican athletes show greatness at one time or another. Peace out

ELAINE THOMPSON THOMPSON-HERAH handled this interview very well. Not only that, she reflected on the "FUTURE" possibilities of "IMPROVING" as time goes by...! SHELLY ANN FRASER PRYCE has "DESTROYED" the "MYTH" of the aging process in "PROFESSIONAL TRACK," as we know it. She has gotten "BETTER'" with "AGE," and is actually "SPEEDING-UP...!" Her "LONGEVITY" in this chosen profession is an "INSPIRATION" to all those, that will choose to follow in her footsteps. And, ELAINE THOMPSON-HERAH has proven to be a "GRACIOUS" woman with her respect, and demeanor of character...! Having "THREE'" SUPER-STARS out of "JAMAICA" is "PHENOMENAL...!"

🌴Jamaican athletes such as Elaine Thompson, Shericka Jackson, Merlene Ottey, Dionne Hemmings, Asafa Powel, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, 'Shrimpy' Clark, Trevor Berbick, Donald Quarrie, Usain Bolt, etc. were just seemingly regular persons; before they became famous. I may appear to be a regular person today. But if given a fair chance; 🍀Recorder Revolutionist 🍀, could also become a worthy asset to Jamaica, W.I., & the world at large 🌎. Imagine my vision. ⭐It's my turn, to shine for Jamaica. 😉
