Your sport is failing because most of your content providers dont show the race and you region block everything. Cant even keep up with the sport so why bother.
For f1 you need side pods and then you lower your wing a little bit more to allow for better air flow. Flatten oit the wing bull. 2 of a degree and that alone will help with the porpoising and gain you at least 4mph 11kmph on the straights and that will allow for higher speeds in corners.
So are the power levels shown on screen live and accurate??? If they are then Vandoorne crossed the finish line with 0.0% - 04:35. Out of the top 3 Evans was the only one to cross the actual finish line with any energy left in his battery - 04:36. 3rd place Verne was not even in the picture and was on 0.0%. So which is it, the information on screen is incorrect or are they now allowed to finish on 0.0% energy?????

I was at the race and really enjoyed it. Monaco is the perfect venue for FE. With much narrower cars than in F1 it means there's so much more overtaking at Monaco and it makes for more exciting racing, not just a procession like with F1 at Monaco. I was in the K1 grandstand in front of Tabac, so had a great view. So brilliant to be there and well done to Stoffel Vandoorne! I was rooting for him. I hope I can attend again next year. :)

Yep. And the new Gen3 FE cars from next year onwards are gonna be even smaller, far lighter, and a lot more powerful. So we'll probably get even MORE overtakes at every Monaco e-prix now. And part of the new Gen3 car is that it's significantly better at regenerating the battery via braking. Much much much much MUCH better. It's like night and day. Meaning that we'll be able to get a full length Monaco track at every FE rave there from now on because they'll be able to manage the long distance. And the light weight of the car and the suped up power unit is gonna make for some thrilling cornering as they use it to try and overtake people. The only problem is the FIA will probably get angry that FE at Monaco is so much better than F1 at Monaco, so they'll probably still not allow them to race the full track. Or something like that, just so they can maintain the dominance of F1. I hope not though But regardless of what happens with FE, F1 desperately needs smaller cars. Maybe they should have two cars a year, a track car and a street course car. Like in indycar how they have a street/road course car and a separate oval track car that has a different design. So that way we could still get the full size F1 cars but for tracks like Monaco you can get the smaller cars that are more in line with historical F1 car sizes (albeit probably still a little bit bigger than the classic ones, because a lot of the increased size of the cars is purely a safety measure, you need that big long collapsible nose to take the brunt of any crash instead of the drivers' skulls taking the brunt)
Give f1 drivers an extra 100hp over one another and they'd probably make the same move as well. Attack mode is too gimmicky for my liking, but each to their own

Still, even though they have more grip they can't do it because they're too wide, can't follow each other and they all pit around the same time. The only times there were decent overtakes in Monaco in recent years was last year when there was rain, where, guess what, the Inters had a massive grip advantage over Wet-runners like Formula E drivers have extra power. Plus, F1 normally has DRS, which is more gimmicky than Attack Mode since only following drivers get DRS, an extra boost in straight-line speed. Some drivers might never get DRS while other drivers will have DRS every lap. Yet F1 cars can't even overtake with the extra DRS unless they're top teams
It's really strange what happened with him. Its not like he is very old he shouldn't suddenly be this bad. I know his car isn't as good but he was also easily beaten by Rowland last year. But great to see himback to points for sure.
A proud Mahindra fan - it hurts every time when we aren't anywhere near the top - 2019 was a teaser of a season. But this was just plain miserable - we had a strong position and Rowland got hotheaded

Back in the days, when they started with this, they even had to Switch the cars because the battery wasn't good enough. I have been an avid fan of - _and_ participant in - motorsports for over five decades, now. Today, in May of 2024, I have decided to add Formula E to the portfolio of racing series I follow. This was a good and enjoyable race, and now I'm off to watch subsequent years of the Monaco EPrix.
Race was very good with lot of overtakes but, you know what could be even better? Show the overtakes... You just cut off lot of the overtakes in the midfield and dont even show what happened to Bird or Mortara. The cut on the different camera was always the same even if something important was going on. A solid 9/10 for the race but 2/10 for the tv direction (it was even worse than last year F1 gp...)
Basically when you go off the racing line on a predetermined part of the track, it is a slower line but it does indeed activate attack mode. The mode lasts for 4 minutes and it basically provides a boost of power for that duration. Each driver's allocated 2 attack modes per race and it's up to them and their teams how to use them strategically.

Are you allowed to finish with 0,0 battery left? The monitor shows 0,0 with Vandoorne before crossing the finishline. at 4:32 he has 0,1% but at 4:33 he has 0,0% at 4:35 he finish...
Formula E goes to Monaco to race, meanwile F1 just goes to Monaco because it's Monaco and because they always have... i.e. Formula E has better racing, so they win in this regard. By the way, did you know that Monaco pays no hosting fees to F1? They also use a local TV team instead of the one that does litteraly all the other F1 races.
