The thing that I think sets Kendrick apart from Drake as an artist is his range and lyricism. You listen to a Drake song (specifically any of his disses) and they all sound the same with very little variability. The lyrics are also mostly strong but very shallow. Kendrick makes each song feel like something truly unique and special. Even within the same song, it goes through acts. 1) Drake is going to respond
2)Kdot is just warming up. Drake ain't ready lol
I really don’t see how Drake can response and bet the better of this situation
He needs to sat dwn, give Dot Pac's ring for free, crown him the KING of HIP HOP and stay in his lane pop and sell.
Drake not responding. He wouldnt be texting Ak to be his messenger if he was man enough to respond. He's been dodging allegations and just focusing on one to mitigate the damage. And if he does respond it won't do much unless he absolutely cooks on it, which I highly doubt. Kdot has done a great job at not allowing drake to control narratives and call him out on his antics. Drake is an entertainer first before an actual artist.
@@genesisosunawho dat in the pfp I recognize that
A response from him would be pouring more kerosene on to the fire... Just mind your business Drake, accept the L and move on
Drake made a response diss track on May 5, called "The Heart Part 6" & he is getting rightfully clowned for it 😂

Masterpiece rap beef. Brought it straight to drakes doorstep out of no where, let drake cook up some hamburger helper then he dropped 4 michelin star restaurants on his head

The stock line could mean a few things but one that might REALLY go over people’s heads is that in recording/engineering, you can you “stock” plug-ins on your vocal chain which creates the final sound you hear over someone’s vocals. You can add multiple stock plug ins to one vocal chain. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 + 5 lol

Death threat, black empowerment, a doom warning, a helpful warning, therapy session/intervention and a club banger.
And a history lesson 😂
@@Bovice_Nicole That too.
How is it black empowerment?
@@VegabondMusashiI’d say Black Protection before Black Empowerment but they’re real similar. He’s calling Drake out for being a fake culture vulture who exploits black artists and black culture for his own gain, while at the same time not respecting black culture or black people. Drake ain’t no different than old record label execs that give an up and coming rapper some f’d up deal to sign and take 80% of the profit. That’s Kendrick’s point, and so in a way he’s defending black culture by calling Drake out.

It was an advance when rap was no longer just gangsta. But maybe it went too far (including K's last record) and this pulling it back. He's certainly noting the worst things about rap now--its self-involvement and its rapiness.

His lyrics are also just so deep but he isn’t afraid to drop in some basic disses too
