What a beautiful & grand old house! Home’s aren’t built like this anymore! Sure wish I could buy these old house’s & restore them! Wonderful video as usual! 👍👍❤️✊🤘
This beautiful and grand house was directly hit by the January 12, 2023 tornado that came through Selma, Alabama. Dr. and Mrs. Fuller had preserved the home to its former beauty, but decided to place it on the market instead of making all the major repairs.Following the tornado, they immediately placed a flat roof on the home to weatherize the home after the tornado ripped the roof off the home. Thankfully the home has been purchased and the individual is making the necessary repairs to once again bring this beauty back to life.
I'm assuming this home has 12"+ ceiling height. Imagine how tiring it would be to run up and down that long straight staircase throughout the course of your day. It would be great exercise! Great columns and great potential!
I love the floor to ceiling mirror in the formal parlor. It's a reflection and essence of all this house is. Even though the history on this house is some what sketchy it has a soul. It is rich in family, love and the memories that hang framed on the walls. This house was well cared for and I hope that the next owners will care and love this house making new memories while persevering the old ones. As always thanks for the peek inside. ❤❤❤
It's going to take a lot more than a little T.L.C......the whole roof is missing. Such a beautiful house. With the land cleared like it is I would say there's a development coming. Such a shame.
It was beyond gorgeous. Then it wasn't. How long has it not been lived in? I was absolutely shocked at its condition. 😭 Between the landscape and roof looks like a tornado came thru. Sooooooo sad.
Let's tear down all the beauty and build cold bland paeans to modernity. So heartbreaking. We were more gracious and genteel then. Thank you for a look at this gorgeous place before it's torn down. What a sad lot we Americans have become.
The house is still quite beautiful but it looks like it needs a lot of repairs. Once the roof is gone it is going to deteriorate quickly which is very unfortunate. Hopefully it will live on to see many more years. Thanks for the tour!
