I went to Delaware river for striped bass fishing. As usual, catfish got in the way a lot, but I managed to hook up some nice striped bass. Will be back to the river for more striped bass this spring.

Glad you got on a couple of stripes! Definitely catching the heck out of catfish. It was fun watching you out there doing what you love my friend! Thank you for sharing and letting us hang out with you!
Thank you for following along. It was a good morning on the river.
I agree. Thanks for sharing.
Good fishing and video.
Thank you.
Nice!
Great job Yura. Way to get what you were looking for....nice Stripers!!!
I was looking for 33+ inch rock, but 23” had to do…😂
Entertaining video, with good action! I'd keep all the catfish, not because I like them, but to help get rid of them!
If I only had pigs to feed them… just didn’t want to deal with them. 😁
That was healthy catfish
There were a few…
That bigger Striper put up a great fight, he sure made it worth it, and those Fat Cats, wow, even though they're not the target, they sure put up a hard bite and fight.
Thanks. It wasn’t a bad day. Cats were annoying though 😂
Looked like a nice time. Those fat cats and stripers are fun to catch. You gotta get around the Susquehanna flats near turkey point. I used to kill it over there with stripers. Haven’t fished there in a few years obviously, but we had some fun there when I lived up there.
I get out to flats once in a while. This year MD canceled trophy season. I’ll try a different spot in the river if weather will allow.
Good job brother! Do you think the striped bass are still hitting at Delaware river during July?
Thanks. There should be some smaller residents around. But, the cow run is over.
When using circle hooks u need to just reel and not swing on the fish u will have more hook ups
Thanks for the tip. Will try that.
I'm looking to move to Delaware in a few years. I have a small 21ft boat. where is the best area to move to and boat and catch striped bass. Do you guys drift? Do you anchor? Thanks in advance.
Southern delaware would be a better when it comes to fishing. For stripers I mostly anchor but drift sometimes. Depends on technique.
@@FishyAngler Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at Millsboro area as of now. I'm a big striper kinda guy but open to other big game fish. What other big fish are around?
-Catching catfish is way better than catching eels.
That’s true…😁
dont set the hook with circle hooks,,, just point and reel
Thanks for the tip.
