Wow guys love the content, great video, I’m leaving for my cruise on Quantum Of The Seas in 4 week and this video has just made me so much more excited:))
Hi Lacey. Thanks for watching and for supporting us. Have a fantastic time on Quantum of the Seas. Subscribed to your channel by the way and we can't wait to see your videos when you get back.
Thanks for your videos - they have been very helpful - especially quantum of the seas as we are going next April. Embarking in Brisbane as we are from Brissie too, and heading to Hawaii - well done and keep up the great videos!
@robandali the suit, suitcase do you have a link or the website that your purchased this from please?? its awesome :) ive never seen one like it before
Lol. When we get new glasses it's an entire day at the optometrist. It's a good job we know the. We must try every frame in the shop on and then eliminate them one by one.
Thank you so much for your videos ! Do you know what the disembarkation process is like at Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas please ? How quickly after docking can you disembark ? Thank you.
Hi guys love watching your take on Quantum of the Sea. My friends and I are sailing on it in Nov 2023 and are so excited. I was wondering as we are from New Zealand and so don't really tip. I know we tip onboard but do we tip the porters on shore who handle our bags? Cheers!
Hi Velma. There is no tipping really in Australia so no need to hand out tips like the Americans do. Certainly it is not usual to tip the porters on shore. What we would say though is that it is customary to tip your cabin steward at the end of the cruise and any other staff that have especially looked after you during the cruise. So, for example, if you have had the same waiters at dinner and they have looked after you then you might want to show your appreciation at the end of the cruise. Guest Services have envelopes that you can get to put some money in and give to your favoured staff. Hope this helps.
How did you guys go with the rocking of the boat? Did you feel much from deck 12? My friend and I are booked on the Ovation of the seas later this year and are nervous for our 11th floor balcony :) Very excited though
Hi and thanks for watching and supporting us. We have yet to visit Tasmania but will be doing in February. We hope that you have a fantastic cruise and please let us know your thoughts when you get back.
Love watching you both we have a girls cruise planned on the 15th on Ovation of seas from Sydney to Hawaii for 18 days not long now😊 loved all your tips my sister and I have bought the drink package as there are a lot of days at sea, did you buy the drink packages when you sail ?
I’ve heard that if you pack with a sheet or two of tissue paper layered between your clothes, this will help prevent wrinkles in your luggage. Love your videos!!
Hi Rob and Ali I loved the “where’s Wally” outfits for the sail away. Looked like so much fun. Enjoy the rest of your cruise and looking forward to tomorrows video. Where did you get that amazing suit carrier? It’s just what we’re looking for but haven’t been able to find.
Hi Elizabeth. Thanks for watching and supporting us. The suit carrier was bought in the UK a few years ago. It is Wenger brand but not sure if they are even still in business. Victorinox here in Australia did a version called the Mobilizer NXT 5.0. I have had a quick look to see if that is still available but can't find it so that may be discontinued now too. Strandbags do a similar one called Flylite Odyssey Full Size Garment Bag but it doesn't appear to have wheels. Sorry we can't be any more help but it is really useful if you manage to find one.
We love all our cruises Elizabeth. We think some people try to make too much of a comparison instead of taking each as it is. The beauty about cruising on different ships is that they each have their own character and we love that. Good luck with the suit carrier.
@@robandalicruisetravel I have managed to find a suit carrier on Amazon that I’ll be purchasing. Unfortunately it can’t be delivered in time for our NZ cruise but I’m sure we’ll have loads of other cruises to use it on.
Hi Elizabeth. That's great news. We may be asking you for the link as the wheels got broken on ours on our last trip. We will try to get them repaired but if we can't then we'll be looking for a new one. Have a fantastic NZ trip.
Hi and yes, it was amazing. To be honest we were probably paying more attention to all the robots, projections and moving stage areas than the dancers.
Hi Bindi Lou. Some of the comedians can be a little weak but he was really funny. So funny that your partner was being mistaken for him, hope he had some fun with that.
Hi Michelle. Thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply. It's a Wenger. Not sure if they are actually still around as we got this in the UK. Victorinox did a very similar one her in Australia so some of those may still be available. Hope this helps.
@@isaiahprice4004 Hi Isaiah and thanks for watching. The answer to both questions is yes. You need to show that you have had the initial 2 jabs of an approved vaccine. Boosters are not compulsory. If you are living in Australia then you can download this from Medicare website. If you are from overseas, like Ali's parents, then you should be able to get a similar download copy. Just keep it on your phone or print a copy off. We do both in case technology fails. As for the RAT, you need to do this within 24 hours of boarding and take a photo of it with some Government issued identification and something showing the date and time. We use each other's phones for that. You don't need to take the test to the terminal but you do need to have the photo (digital or printed) to show. Alternative to RAT is a PCR test which can be done within 48 hours of boarding. Hope this helps.
Hi Wendy and thanks for watching and supporting us. The suit carrier is Wenger brand. We brought it from the UK and not sure if they are even still in business. Victorinox in Australia did one that is very similar but, again, not sure if they still do that either.
Love your outfits, yummy pizza.. good night, catch you next time so thanks again for sharing 🤩🤩
