Your work is so beautiful im considering picking up a brush. I can draw but painting is something completely different. I hope to learn from your skills. Thank you.
How beautiful, Clive, you have amazed me again. I should know better by now not to question why you do this or that. By the time you get done it looks absolutely beautiful!
The best thing to do is not to think why and not to worry use your inner child 🧒 as we did when we were kids just paint to paint and go with the flow after all it’s just a painting and there are now boundaries to art it looks that way because it does that’s me 😊
Love the Sepia! On the waves...where the water is pulling out is undertow and it rushes back in to add height to next wave, the foam is pulling back prior to that wave... so front line of foam a little too far to the right... otherwise LOVE the tones in the Sepia... monotone pics can be very beautiful... Nice work Clive💖 enjoying your paintings very much!
I don’t worry about detail and being perfect I’m glad you seen something tho it shows your paying attention to detail I paint quick and teach also I’m at an angle to the canvas so that may be one of my problems but it’s just a painting imperfections make art and catch to eye
A tip I learned from the Society of Decorative Painters for cleaning a blending brush or mop brush: wipe it off as much as possible on paper towel or kitchen roll and then use an alcohol wipe or put a little rubbing alcohol on a clean part of the paper towel, and remove the last color. It dries really quickly and is ready to use again. I always clean with soapy water when I'm completely done with it.
Cool clive, don't always need a lot of colour to make a easy on the eye painting :-) Tenby is an awesome place to visit also, had many happy memories on that beach ...:-)
Hello Clive, love us videos, started painting a few months ago and ur videos really do help, one thing your videos don't explain, what are the mediums for? I'm sorry if I missed it, but u mention it a lot but without explaining what it does? I'd like to know before I order from your web site as if had a look and it's great! Keep up the good work! Will be ordering soon :-)
They are mentioned in most videos also in the playlist section th-cam.com/users/Clive5art but if you pop along too www.clive5art.co.uk/Shop click on the product it will give you full information on them thank you clive
Love the paintings , but for those who are newish and limited budget. Are all those mediums really needed. I can see why you do it, promoting your ideas and making money to.

That can work as long as the brush is completely dry or the rubbing alcohol will effect the paint braking down its stability

Thank you Chris it's a special place for me
Oh so lovely thank u.for all u.do have a blessed day.
God bless thank you
Can you use gesso instead of titanium white to do the base coating? Is there an advantage to doing that?
The only difference is gesso will be rough and porous tw will be self sealing and give a smooth finish
Beautifull 👍👍👍👏
👍😎
Hello Clive, What do you use to attach your canvas to your backboard ?
Blue tack just for filming

I’ve been painting for over 30 yrs and yes they help a lot and yes I have to make money as I give so much for free but don’t force anyone to buy
