I'm a complete beginner, and so I appreciate you talking through the process, "giving permission" to not think too much about how it all goes (I stress too much that it has to be "perfect"). This is really lovely--I am looking forward to starting this! Thank you for such a lovely project and for making the video!

Love the quick painting. It's different than how a longer painting is done. Thank you.

You're right Clive, nearly every time I've visited Wales, it's rained hard, and it CAN rain in Wales, but the Welsh people more than make up for it by their huge warm hearts, and are kindly to an extreme, God bless them all.

Hello Clyde,a question from Florida, USA I am wondering what ingredient I can use to delay my drying time(thereby giving me a little more working time and smoothing ability)-due to hot humid weather here. Thanks for answering ,anyone.

Thank you for this video. I plan to watch many more of your videos on my journey to painting. I like how you explain every single thing. The brush, the colors and every single thing that you are doing! Thanks again!

Just had a go at this for my second painting (if you forget about the finger painting at 5 years old). Found your tutorial very easy to follow and I liked the way you explain what you are doing as you are doing it and why you do it. Thanks Clive. If I could of put up a picture of my attempt on this comment then I would have as a chuffed with the outcome 😎

I love Crayla and System 3 Dayla Rowney also. Crayla screw tops are great, they don’t seem to clog and are larger to handle when you’ve got older hands.

I normally say I’m not Russian, !im English, just to calm me down to s’more haste less speed. Great painting in such little time very enjoyable, thank you Clive. I was wondering, how do you paint bricks? I’m going to do an A4 canvas with a memory of my Grandmothers Terraced house front entrance. Because it won’t be there now although the Terrace is. She lived in this house about 60 years and my Dad and aunts and uncles were born here. I Aldo’s used to stay here from to time. The house is over 100 years old and before Gran. My great grand parents lived in here to. It just a wonderful memory to me but also perhaps hilstorical thing for tour village. I’m unsure how to paint yellow coloured bricks which the house is built from. I’ve managed to set down the bones of the sketch though. Hesitant to paint it and worried about spoiling it.

Great video clive, lovely painting. Just one question for you clive, what colours can you mix to make a dark purple like dioxazine purple. Thank you.
