  • Join me on a 21-mile long run (including Stevenage parkrun) as I run through my highest mileage week ever (62 miles/100k)... followed by Brighton Marathon 2024. This was my last big run before my first sub-3 attempt at Boston Marathon UK on 28 April. Episode 24.

You are awesome to start and finish a Park run and running before and after so you hit 20-22 mile or 3 hour run in all. I think you in fact are able to run a 3 hour or sub-3 hour marathon. You are so clever in being persistent in your running life. Great work. Inga DK.

Thanks Inga, appreciate the comment and the faith! Weather depending, I think it will be close - I’ll just give it my best shot and what will be, will be!

Good work there. What's impressive is how easy you take your easy runs. Many on your trajectory of running do not.

Thank you! I was very late to the party, but since ‘discovering’ zone 2 running about 18 months ago I have seen massive improvements… it’s helped me build mileage and consistency (through lower injury risk), and means I’m fresher for my sessions. Would recommend it to anyone!

Thank you so much for the support on the day and thank you for the mention 🔥🔥 Was sad not to bump into you but I'm sure it wont be too long before we see each other, keep up the good work and don't do anything stupid in these next few weeks haha

I do love a marathon spectating day - I think one year I was at Brighton, Manchester and London in three consecutive weeks 😂 Congrats again to you both. And yeah 100%, it will happen at some point! And maybe I’ll even remember my phone…
      Ha, I promise 🫡
